- From "Concert in Stereo", Ray Conniff's first TV show, which was broadcast on May 2, 1960. With the help of an additional radio frequency in connection with the other channel on TV, the show could be watched in stereo. This live concert was filmed in Pasadena for KTTV.
Thank You! This music, and likely the same musicians and singers, was done in Tacoma, Washington, USA in the late 1950s when Ray Conniff came to town. It was at the Temple Theater. I have always felt that this concert turned me on to vocal jazz, using one's voice as an instrument. Thank you so much for continuing to bring Conniff to us and for keeping his genius alive. Great video! Please post more of this show from Ray Conniff! I listen to Mr. Conniff's music every day as it always puts me in a good mood!

More Ray Conniff magical arrangements...
Dear Manfred,
Thank you for having posted such lovely songs. A question: Why aren't these shows even with poor tv and sound performance put on DVD for everybody to have them, including the one have on Christmas and the one in Japan? Another question: Do you happen to have the show in Chile where RAy Conniff received a prize?
All the very best and thanking you for everything.

I do not know about swimming in a Martini glass with a beautiful blonde when I hear this music; however whatever gives you pleasure--go for it.
