This breaks hip hop fans minds cuz they can’t comprehend that someone who doesn’t write all of their own music could be a good writer. But we see it a lot in rap and other genres. Snoop Dogg wrote for himself and others back in the Death Row days but Jay Z wrote for Snoop. Ice Cube wrote for himself and others but his cousin Del wrote for Ice Cube. Dr Dre rarely ever wrote but MC Ren confirmed that Dre actually wrote Eazy-ER Said Than Dunn for Eazy E.
The Weeknd has written for Drake but Belly has also written for The Weeknd. Michael Jackson wrote Billie Jean but didn’t write Thriller. PartyNextDoor and Drake have written for each other. Kanye wrote Find Your Love for Drake and Drake wrote 30 Hours for Kanye. 21 Savage said that Drake wrote some of his verses on Her Loss.
And last but not least Quentin Miller who wrote for drake also recently confirmed he wrote for Nas and is even credited on the song but nobody cares cuz it’s Nas.
