You should try to get him to change his mind. I was about to vote for Harris too, until I did my own research. The border crisis is the reason that the economy and GDP grew but Americans can’t feel the benefits. The number of new jobs created every month since 2021 has always been dwarfed by the sheer number of illegal immigrants that have entered the country in the same period (average 2 million per year), which is why it hasn’t become easier to find a job. The construction of new homes cannot keep up with the influx of illegal immigrants, which is why housing/rent costs keep going up. We need to close the border.
Kamala won’t fix the border crisis. She lied at her CNN town hall. She’s not serious about border security or public safety at all. Check out the stats on illegal immigrants with criminal records.

Sure it makes sense to try an reach as many people as possible in a swing state. There are still Democratic (or independents) in otherwise red areas who may think it's not worth voting or who are on the fence about who to vote for. They still matter and may make a difference.
It wouldn't be like going to New York or California where it's clear that Harris is going to win by 15-20 points.

Not winnable states. If Harris can hold down the margin of defeat in red areas of North Carolina she can win the state.

I live in a blue state so I hesitate to weigh in BUT AL and LA are likely too red at this point. But my observation is that if all those who lived in red states and felt their blue vote doesn’t count would show up it could really change things. At the very least, the state government may get a wake up call. I just hear too many people in deep red states saying their vote doesn’t count so they stay home.
