  • Ingredients :
    Corn - 1 Whole
    Besan - ¼ Cup
    Chopped Green Chilli - 2 tbsp
    Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
    Salt - as per taste
    Water - as per required
    Oil - For Frying
    Method :
    If using fresh corn, cut the kernels off the cob.
    In a mixing bowl, Combine Corn, besan (gram flour), chopped green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric powder, corn flour, and salt.
    Gradually add water to the dry mixture, stirring continuously, until you get a smooth batter with a thick consistency. The batter should be thick enough to coat the corn kernels well.
    Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadhai over medium-high heat.
    Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated corn kernels into the hot oil. You can use a spoon or your hands to drop them gently into the oil.
    Fry the pakoras in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides, flipping occasionally for even cooking.
    Once fried, remove the pakoras using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
    Serve the corn pakoras hot with your favorite chutney, ketchup, or dipping sauce.
