Thanks for the great review! Can you tell me what the name of the watch face is at 7:10? I've been looking on the Play store, but can't find it. Thanks, @TechMishka!
I do have to say that I think the watch looks really cool and sleek. It kinda makes me wish I could get one if I didn't have a iPhone. Unfortunately, I think they still need to do some work with the OS. Everything feels like it's placed randomly when swiping through the watch. Plus I hate the subscriptions so that's why I'm staying with Garmin.
There is no way to turn the sound completely off. The alarm and the timer sound are permanently on. In my opinion that makes this watch the worst on the market.
Had an apple watch, like the look of this watch. I was lucky setup about 45 min. My battery lasts almost 2 days. I got a nice snap on cover fits perfect.
I don't recognise your battery issues. Don't need to charge the watch every day. It lasts longer than the Apple watch I had. The Fitbit lock-in however is quite annoying.
I agree it's a bit big but I believe they already have a close to bezeless screen they just have to create a pho innovation experience and make us wait year by year
Looks like Google managed to fix most first gen issues and has a decent offering now, although the drawbacks you pointed out are still significant mainly the lack of wireless charging at this price point and the subscription based full health tracking with separate app don't sit quite well for me. Great review as usual, thanks for sharing with us
- Lack of wireless charging. - Subscription based health tracking. - Only 1 (small) size. - No repair facilities for the watch if you damage it, toss and replace only. - Design is more subsceptible to damage than other designs. - Mediocre screen with huge bezels compared to the competition. - Battery life still sub par for the price point. It's a step up from version 1, but if the first one was the alpha release, this is the beta release. Maybe we'll get the final product with version 3 next year. On the plus side, Ebay is so flooded with these watches thanks to Google's launch promotion for the Pixel 8 phones, you can pick one up for just over the £100 mark.
@@TechMishka not all doom and gloom though, they used some very good sensors in the Pixel Watch 2, almost as good as Apple's. If they could just step up the game on the exterior presentation just that last little bit...

I used the app Facer and it was among the top free watch faces. Cannot remember the name, I'm afraid 😞
@@TechMishka No problem, that explains it! Thank you!
Good video! Got my watch 2 after launch and love it 😊
Btw where did you get the watch faces re colors and the one with tiles and info Thank you
Both were in the top free chart in the app Facer.

That's a good plan!
Good transparency with your review. Very balanced with the negative and positive points.
Thanks

You're welcome 😊

Oh, great that it worked well in your case. The design is very beautiful.
You are not forced, just use another app or google fit
Nah, not the same
7:07 I was thinking it was an almost bezeless display until this moment 😅
😎😎😎

Oh wow, awesome news about the battery life! Do you use AOD?
Same here mine last long also i dont feel any worries about charging att awkward times..1 n half day is perfect
That bezel width is criminal
😊
I love a watch with the bezel
You rant because you don't have a watch 2😅

Yeah, there seem to be too many drawbacks for the high price...

Apple watch is fragmented also
Not as much though.
