+Kaye Charles Thanks, Kaye - it really is an easy card to make. I really hope you give it a try. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I just ordered Bloomin' Love but don't have saying because it is a rubber stamp & I don't have any luck with putting them on the clear blocks. I don't buy anything but the photopolymer stamps but they don't have as many nice ones as I think they need to. There are a lot of us that don't have the room for the wooden ones & don't have luck with the rubber ones. I love this card but will just have to try to find a sentiment that will work, even if it not as good as the one you are using. ha THANKS for doing such great cards & showing us all the neat ways to do them.....Your an Angel!
Hi, Darlene. I prefer photopolymer, too but I still buy clear mount if that's the only option. I like wood mount but avoid them because of storage. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Absolutely stunning Jan! I can't wait to give it a try!! Also loved your Collar fold card, thank you for sharing your talents with us.
+Marie Denise Callaway Many thanks, Marie. I'm really pleased you're going to make this one. Like the collar Fold Card, it's surprisingly easy. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Hi Jan, I love the card, I was also not convinced of the two colours at the beginning of the video.
But by the end I loved the combination. Thank you.
+Chris Flack Hi, Chris. It doesn't look as if I replied to your comment - I'm really sorry! I'm so pleased you like this card and I understand your feelings about the colour combo - I was apprehensive to start with! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I put a paper weigh on the long cards that I'm trying to work with so it doesn't move. That way when I glue it isn't in the wrong place.
Love your videos Jan ❤️
Many thanks, Jane. So pleased you enjoy my tutorials. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Love your video and your voice is just so very relaxing, love love it.
This video was sent to my email acct. but the other one I sent you first was what I got on, on UA-cam. I get busy & don't always think about checking UA-cam so I loved it when I got them in my email.....I did more that way. ha Love what you did with this card too.
Hi, Darlene. As a subscriber to my channel you should always get an email notifying you that I've posted one. I wonder if your Internet provider is blocking the emails from coming in. If that's the case, you'll need to get them to put the UA-cam email address on your white list. I hope you manage to get this sorted out. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
New subscriber. I love this card. I’m going to run to my craft room now. 😉
Many thanks, Toni, and welcome to my channel. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

+Audrey Shaw Hi, Audrey. I'm glad you like the double z card, it's really easy to make. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I happened across your video by accident and am I happy I did. I made this card but wanted it to be the standard size to fit the A2 envelope. Rather than reinvent the wheel, I thought I would ask if you have the measurements for a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Thank you.
Jan B.I love this card and have made it before! Thank you for sharing this with everyone! Is it possible to make this card any larger and what would be the basic measurements? Thank you.
Rita A. Pencek
Hi, Rita. Yes, you can make all sorts of sizes. In the video, the first and second sides were 25% each of the total length of the card, so the third side was 50%. For example, if the cardstock was 8", score at 2" and 4". You can use any proportions, preferably, as long as the first two sections are the same, they don't need to be the same as the third section. I also think you can do section one bigger than section two, but not the other way round. Does that make sense? I hope it does. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
love you videos. ... Thanks I thing I am going to be busy....lol
Many thanks, Jenny. Have fun with this project! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I am no good at stamping, so tend to steer clear. Do they come on the clear holder ? Sorry I am new to crafting. How easy card making is when you have all the right equipment, but unfortunately I could not afford all of it all at once, so it would probably take me a couple of years to make this card, unless I do it all free hand and then it would not look half as professional. I think turning paper over is a good habit to have, as we always have the pattern we want nearly always facing us, so even when it’s plain, it looks like a good practice I will follow. Is the tombow glue quick setting or does it give you wiggle time. Love your tutorials, so calming too, and I feel that even I could perhaps make what you have, even without the equipment. Pink and green always looks lovely together, but you need the right shades of each
Hi, Jacqui. Welcome to the wonderful world of cardmaking. No, you need to buy the blocks for the stamps. It does take time to build up your "stash" but it can be done with a bit of planning, especially with a company like Stampin' Up! because everything is colour co-ordinated so you can start with just a few colours you like. If you need any help at any time, please feel free to contact me with your questions. Email address: janb@janbcards.com. xx
Love this tutorial and want to make this card. Have all the paper, punches, ink and stamps. Just wondering if there is a list of the dimensions anywhere that can be printed off.
Hi, Wanda, I'm so pleased you're going to make one of these cards. You can do a "copy and paste" of the list that's in the box below the video. Let me know if you have a problem doing that. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
So beautiful it's hard to choose a favourite they are all stunning . Thank you Jan for a great video I love the way you explain every detail makes it so much easier to follow.x
+Carol Pendleton Many thanks, Carol. I'm so pleased you like this project. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
Bellezaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Hello! I love this card and I made one just like you show on the video. I am very very pleased with the result. However the centimeter measurements did not fit right. The whisper white was the same hight as the lost lagoon (10 cm). It doesn't matter so much, but just wanted to let you know. I made 2 cards and on the second one I changed it so it would make a nicer border. Thanks so much for your wonderful inspirations :-) Nicole from Germany!
+Nihe1967 Hi, Nicole and a big Hi to Germany, too. Many thanks for your feedback. I'll look into what you say and correct it where necessary. Unfortunately, I'm more comfortable with inches! I appreciate you pointing out that something isn't quite right. I'm so pleased my video inspired you to have a go at making this style of card. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I love your projects and cards. I am attempting many of them to use as gifts. Do you have any suggestions of types of cards (i.e. birthday, hello, get well) to include in a 5 or 6 card gift box?
Hi, Effie. This is quite a difficult question to answer! If you asked ten people you'd probably get ten totally different responses! So what it's worth, if I was doing a box of cards I'd include a female birthday card, a male birthday card, a thank you card, a new home card and a get well soon card for a box of 5. For a box of six cards I'd add another female birthday card. I hope this helps. BTW I think it'll make a great gift whatever themes you decide to go for! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Correct me if I'm wrong Jan but I didn't quite hear the measurements for all of the white cards that you stamped or used for the card. Please can you just go through them again. The card is really really lovely.
Hi, Linda. You'll find all the measurements in the box below the video. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I haven't been getting your videos & MISS THEM........do you know why or what is wrong that I'm not getting them???? Lots of LOVE, Darlene
Hi, Darlene. I missed seeing you too. I'm really pleased you're OK! How did you get this video? Maybe you should check with UA-cam? I hope you get it sorted out☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
Hello sweetie! I loved this card so much, that I did 2 more of them, this them the blackberry bliss version! I have a request: Would you please show a card for a retirement for ladies? Thanks so much! Nicole from Germany
+Nihe1967 Hi, Nicole. I'm really so pleased you like this card as much as you do. I think it's surprisingly easy for such an unusual card! I have put your request on my list of suggestions and will certainly see if I can think of something suitable! Watch this space, Nicole. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
Well done Jan, i would love to re-join your group. Carol H
Hi, CarolAnn. I'd love to have you rejoin. I'll email you! ☺☺☺Happy crafting, JanB.
Hello Jan, do you have any written instructions with your cards, on how to make these cards, then i can print it out and make it when i have a quiet time, i like the panal card and the Zig Zag card too
+Rose Smith Hi, Rose. No, I'm sorry I don't do written instructions any more. I used to for my classes but I found it takes up too much time so I had to stop. One suggestion is that you play the video and make notes so you can go back to it later! I'm sorry I can't be any more helpful on this occasion, Rose. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
C’est vrai que c’est un problème. J ai une idée peut-être bonne ou mauvaise c’est de mettre du stock re positionnable
This is Gorgeous, can I ask how long you have been card making Jan? Your creations are beautiful I love watching your videos.
Many thanks, Jodie. I'm so pleased you enjoy my tutorials. I went to my first cardmaking lesson about 7 years ago and I was hooked, immediately! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
How does your pearls do on the top of the card in the mail?? Here in the states I have to put a piece of card stock over the top of the card so the gems or pearls don't get push in the envelope. I did this card last year & decided to do it again...
Hi, Darlene. It's the same over here but I use the thin white cardboard that's at the back of DSP. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
How do you keep the clear rubber mounts to stay on the blocks? I was told to put glue on them, then my clear blocks were a mess & I had a hard time to get the glue off of them. With these problems I don't want to buy anything but the photopolymer.
Hi, Darlene. I don't put the pictures on the backs of my stamps and I never have problems. It does mean that I often stamp things upside down, though! LOL! I've heard various ways to prevent stamps falling off. One is as you say glue; another is to make sure you always keep the blocks clean; or rub the block on your clothing to build up some static. Have you tried these methods? I hope you find one that suits you. ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
I've never heard of rubbing the block on your clothing to build up some static, if you don't have the picture on the stamp it would be sticky right? So does that stick to the blocks well? The pictures just seem to want to come off now.....so if I take them off they would just stick, right? I just thought that I wouldn't get them off of the clear blocks if I did that. Guess I'm to scared to try things like that without asking. LOL I hope I have this right now.
Without the picture, the backing is sticky as far as the block is concerned. I have never had a problem with my clear mount stamps sticking to my blocks. I do occasionally get problems with photopolymer not sticking but a quick wash in soapy water soon sorts that out! If your pictures are wanting to come off, I would certainly encourage them to come right off. You may find there is still some glue left behind on the back of the stamp but that's easy enough to remove. Here in the UK we have a product called Sticky Stuff Remover - how original is that?? LOL! ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
I'd like to know the scoring in cm as well, if the dimensions were both in inches and cm.
Hi, Aidan. The metric measurements for scoring are 7cm and 14cm. ☺ Happy crafting. JanB.
Jan Brown Thank you! It's such a lovely card.
