    Hi All!
I wanted to challenge myself for fun and the creative exercise of creating a classic 90s Goa Trance track on the Korg Electribe 2 in 10 minutes - starting completely from scratch and building the elements as I progress with it.
I've started with the kick and baseline and build it up from there adding more percussions and melodies.
It was quite challenging and I kept looking at the clock - 10 minutes went super fast!! haha Hope you'll like and enjoy the results of it :)

10 minuets go fast! 😅 But I enjoyed this exercise, it was fun to just move quick without spending too much time thinking about the results and just feeling it. What do you guys think!? 😅

I have had the grey synth electribe for about a year, maybe more, and recently got the pink sampler version. The text on the grey one is dark and the rubber is light so it is difficult to read the buttons. On the pink and blue the rubber is darker and the text is lighter so it is easier to read. I never noticed this until I got the newer unit.

Interesting. I never had the previous versions, I guess they improved that with the new ones. I actually had the ER1 MK2 many years ago and until today I regret for selling it. It was a fun little box

nowww would u recommend synth or sampler version ? I wanna do live stuff and also connect it to a DAW for extra FX
I will use it for mental/acidtekno/tribe/darkpsy

I have only the synth version and never used the sampler one, so I can't really give an opinion.. But I have installed the Hacktribe firmware on my Electribe 2 synth version and that made it capable of using samples as well now

I prefer not using the step edit how about you?

If you know musical notes (i dont) i think it is useful. It would be like using a tracker. For me I avoid using step edit but I sometimes force myself to use it for a change.
It is good for octave changing steps.

I sometimes do use that, but I must say that its not the best on these models. Its pain to program it. I love the sequencers on the Volcas much better on the other hand, I think they did much better work with those machines

@@difflocktwo I force my self because we have paid a reasonable amount of money for the synth .intertunic who does videos said to me wait until u get the step edit going as ive not long just worked it out but i dont go far into it like the 2nd section 1 or 2 bars .is ableton easy to use with ?

Random noise do u use the looper when manually recoding notes?
