I agree with you Bro. I'm also a proud Hindu but I don't give too much important to this trance, piercing the tongue, walking on fire. My prayer is simple, I meditate upon Lord Shiva morning and evening, I recite the Shivapuranam and say the "Shiva-Shiva" mantra. That's all. I don't do all the Pooja. I follow the ngana yoga path. In this way I connect to Lord Shiva better. I can see the benefits 😊. So to all my Hindu brothers and sisters out there, don't complicate things by doing lots of Pooja and keep to many images of our God in your Pooja room. Hinduism never ask you to do all that and confuse your self. Just learn some mantra according to your "ishta Devata" and recite daily, do a simple Pooja, that's all, no need to spend too much money.
@@manoharankrishnan5162 Same way won't be for everyone. You can feel 'something' with Shiva doesn't mean other people can. You can meditate doesn't mean others can. Each person is different. All those you mentioned is ONLY for you we can't expect people to be like us that's selfish.
Very simple, what we are trying to convey here is not to let the other religions make a mockery of our religion. The screaming n yelling is exaggerated. With the running situation in our country, getting a permit to celebrate this event itself is a bonus. Don't go overboard n stick to religion. Look at how the devotees are there, decked with so much of jewellery, makeup to the heaviest form .. Common guys this is a religious event not some party.
I am a Hindu and I pray a lot, but it's sad to see that some people exaggerating when they are in a trance. This is not in our religion.
