Stephens returning that service like it's a weak second serve 😂

Just reinforces speed with no direction is pretty useless sometimes.

No way! Tatjana Maria's serve looked like it slowed down after it hit the court. It looked like Sloane was surprised at how easy it was to return.
The Lisicki serve looked like the fastest one of the lot, but was recorded as being 3 mph slower than Venus' serve

I wish Serena could teach Coco how to become an awesome Server. Whenever Serena needed to get out of a jam, she could always count on an Ace to pull her out! I don’t want Coco to change coaches or anything, but Serena was the best Acer in the world! Just bring her in to work on that particular area!!!❤❤

And if you watch early videos of them, their serve was a work in progress. I think Coco’s serve is getting better and better.

Do you know, how did Serena get to be such an awesome Server?? They said she has more Aces than all males and females. They said her final number was actually higher, because they weren’t keeping records when she became a professional, and nobody comes close!!

It’s not like it could be taught. Even if it can why would Serena want to give away her weapon. 💀

Because Serena is retired and many coaches are retired players.

Remember that 135mph down the middle that was just a hair long from Venus? I think it was Aus open circa 2003

Having a big serve is very helpful, but it guarantees nothing. If other parts of your game are not working very well, you won't achieve much. Also there are times I feel the speed gun malfunctions. I have my doubt with the speed of some of the serves.

Having a big serves means a lot .. I’ve seen stems serve her way out of 0-40 and to go on to win the set and match … so yea

Typical Venus.. She hit a big serve and loose the point. In RG 2007 ,against jankovic she hit a 126mph,123mph and 124mph in game and lost it.

Yeah I don't understand how she didn't win more with such a huge serve. I guess she just wasn't as consistent as Serena.

Its more with the placement. Venus herself said this.. she goes for big serves but they are not placed on edge or on line or T, but Serenas serve is powerful because it goes with the precision and speed though they are bit less than Venus clock speed
