The video quality is about 100 times better than my original VHS. Haven’t watched the blu-ray version (Vols 1 & 2) recently to compare, but this looks fabulous. May consider upgrading from DVD for Vol 3 if and when released.
Does the full DVD still have Megapower by Brian Bennett, or would I need to find the older VHS version? It seems to have been replaced in these newly uploaded UA-cam previews.
I've watched this video several times through the years and I'm wondering who screwed with the music? The original theme song for this video should have been left alone instead of putting the foolish piano music in there that nobody can stand exclamation point
Love the brass at the beginning!
Nice jazz and Railroad mix, makes for a relaxing watch. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really wish that there was footage of Santa Fe going through Colorado Springs on their original right of way.

Is it my imagination, or has the narrator changed on these new remastered DVD versions?

Yes, our Full DVDs still have original music that we put on when the programs were first released!
While its not the same without the original music, still llve the footage regardless
Could B units be operated alone?
No
No, no controls on it. Just power.
There is control so a hostler can move them in the yard at slow speed , the hostler looking outside from one of the porthole
