Identifying losses (esp.) requires understanding the opposition as well. How much opposition research do you guys do in determining record? For example, are you also watching their comparable team channels? What oppo research do you do?

I would like it if Sark would go all out for Fasusi because he is such a rare big human that could help Texas next year if he is willing to at least consider playing both ways as a DT and OT. He would need development no matter what at OT specifically Left OT and with Goosby being already locked into the possible starter spot then I would give Fasusi a quick path to playing time at a desperate position of DT plus allow him to develop at OT. It would make his million dollar value worth it plus he might decide that DT is a much better option to become an NFL first round draft pick. In this senario Texas could still get OT Nick Brooks plus the depth chart would be more appealing for John Turntine next year. Why not get all of those elite guys while they can and keep adding elite talent at desperately needed positions instead of reaching for lesser players. I just don’t understand why Texas can’t recruit elite caliber Large humans that are O-linemen and convert them to elite D-tackles working on their agility and techniques especially when DTs are so valuable just like Left tackles. I HATE seeing elite five star players going to Oklahoma and A$M because Texas can’t use some creativity and sell those athletes that they have a spot at Texas to come and play if they would be flexible and look at how the NFL is demanding players be more flexible to moving positions and justifying the money to help the team. Just throwing out ideas about how Texas can get Fasusi and still get other talent to justify the new NIL money distribution and filling big time needs.
