Hey…, thank you Robert! Took a while to get this one out because I fell into the world of Starfield. 200 hours of play later I’m back in the saddle! - Paul

Looking forward to your playthrough video when you get to it. I never ordered NA as I don’t think it will be as dynamic and fluid as other titles in the series, but might buy it in the future just to complete the series.
One GMT game I am looking forward to is Downfall, did you happen to order it as well? With a playing time of 18 hours I doubt I will get a chance to play it but I like the idea of having each player attacking and defending simultaneously.
Another great job, see you in the next one.

      Hello Mr Lower,
NA is the 4th of the series I have actually played. Of those, it is actually the most dynamic. When a defender loses a combat and gets kicked back, mechanised attackers can continue the combat (even against units not attacked previously) and attack a second time. The German armour is very dangerous due to the armour and quality shifts. And Rommel can give one refill per turn in addition. Nast guys! - Paul

I wonder if the lower solitaire rating is due to a higher element of maneuver in North Africa games? I'm not good at playing both sides but I find it even harder when there's more maneuver than combat.

Hi Ken, Possibly, but since I’m old and forget stuff, I surprise myself all the time playing solo! - Paul

Fuel Supply consideration was the most critical in this campaign but is not represented here...(?)

Hi Romulo, You are right in that there are no fuel points to track, but it is implied by the need to chain depots if units go into the trackless desert. No GPS here, I’m afraid. Most gamers dislike it when logistics get too complex, and I think Mark found a reasonable compromise. - Paul

    500 counters? What?!

Hello Mr X. I took a quick look. The game description from the publisher is looks to be silent on the number of counters. I promise that I did not count them by hand, so it was probably a quick guesstimate on my part. Maybe a little high, but not outrageously so. Regardless, thank you for watching and commenting!! - Paul

@@theoakenknight1748 Thanks for the reply I was worried I was jibbed, because I wasn't anywhere close to that. I had 2 countersheets, so I'd estimate under 150 counters total. I've since set up the game and ensured I have them all and even made it into Day 6 with Rommel about to make a decisive thrust across the escarpment near Halfaya (Hellfire) Pass while the Italians complete the encirclement of Tobruk.
Appreciate your videos, very helpful in figuring stuff out. Hope to see more 19XX series videos on your channel (I subbed).
