zen why my tracks sound shit when i upload them on soundcloud? high freqs sound really bad.
Because SoundCloud converts anything you upload to 128kbps MP3 for the sake of faster playback. So basically it reduces the quality on purpose.
It can be solved by leaving some headroom
it can be solved by leaving about 1db of headroom and using a stereo widener plugin to REDUCE the width of you highs (like 10k up)
