- This time two years ago, I released a speculation video on what was to come in what we now know as the scaled and icy era.That video came to many conclusions, some wrong some right, but now, with a new album upon us at some unknown point, its time to dust off our crystal ball and see whats in store.
So of course I had to jump right back into making speculation once again for our next era. I'm likely going to cover the next era colour, album name, album cover (oh yeah I'm going there), storyline and release date roadmap.

1. Trench was about reliance on family and friends for support through difficulties.
2. SAI has a focus on taking personal responsibility in maturing and facing difficulties (i.e., Choker, Shy Away, Never Take It, Redecorate, etc).
3. My hope is that the next album will focus on reliance on God/faith to make it through difficult times. This will be represented by "The Torchbearer," who will be a sort of Messiah figure.
My guess is that it will be more themed around new life. Coming out of the bad time "dema" in your life as a new person. Stronger and happier than before. The butterfly symbolizes this perfectly.
I truly hope this as well. Tyler mentioned early on that he enjoys and is inspired by stories like lord of the rings and Narnia. It would be interesting to see an Aslan esc character appear in dema
I really hope so! I got into the band more easily because I loved seeing the Christian connections. I hope we get to see more in the next album!
Theory time!!! So, SAI was propaganda, right? Well, SAI also had topics mainly centered around oneself. Perhaps this is to say that you can't rely on yourself and need family or faith to help you? Maybe? That's just a theory, A CLIQUE THEORY. Stay alive, frens. |-/

The butterfly/chrysalis idea is very intriguing
Agree with most all of this. Purple being our color, Butterfly being our animal, both sides neither win or be defeated, HOWEVER (and idk if this has been said in the comments) but Tyler and Josh said they wouldn't do another Radio Silence Style Hiatus again (if I remember the interviews correctly). I've been on the side of them taking longer with recording this album being that it is the end of the Dema Story. Gotta make sure all those loose ends are tied up, story board the music video single prior to the release, and making sure it's all perfect. I personally think November would be a good time, but I also wouldn't be mad if it was early 2023. Gives Tyler a break to be a father, gives enough time for Josh to be a Dog Father, and, of course, to make an amazing final Dema Album.
The only thing I would like to add, a personal prediction, the next logo will be the Omega Symbol since we are at the end
My own personal belief leans more towards that they'll leave it until the end of the year purely because it just makes more sense timing wise and in terms of lore, although April is a strong contender given the consideration that this album was penned likely before SAI as well.
I've seen a few people mention that Omega could be an album name to signify the end, so it's clearly a strong theory doing the rounds. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Lambda either - Blurryface was stylised as BLURRYFΛCE, And Lambda as a letter is used to measure wavelength which has links to music.
A butterfly for the album would make since because the 2 past albums have had an animal with wings or that can fly

Personally I think we will get teasers towards late March early April. We will get a single in April, Another single in late may, then the full thing during the summer. Summer album's is what labels usually want. They want the "Album of the summer"

More than likely will get the album released May 17 which would be the nine year anniversary Blurryface and I feel like it would make sense if we would get a sequel to trench or blurry face
A lot of people think that SAI was Dema forcing Clancy(Tyler’s persona in the lore) to make propaganda for Dema. I also think the next album color will be violet because I went to a Takeover Tour show and Violet was used a lot.

great video yet again, I love hearing your theories, i think they make a lot of sense. the purple color is obvious enough (even my friend who doesnt care that much for top but likes trench guessed it'd be purple, its kind of the only color left) but it'd be really hype if the album was actually called chrysalis like theorized, which i think it will theres too much evidence for it. its nice how they know how to lead people in the right direction to new discoveries
I think the new album will be called,
DJ Spooky Jim’s Dance Party. The colors will be bright pink and yellow and I think it will have Jim the Dog as the album cover. It will come out tomorrow.

What if the next album color is orange symbolizing a truce between the banditos and the bishops probably not likely but i just thought it was a cool idea.
Tbh that's a good call! We initially believed the true sequel to trench would be orange before sai came out, and the meaning makes total sense
I agree with the purple/violet and chrysalis/butterfly for the next era. And I think there will be a victory, but not everyone will get out, and it will end in more of a truce, since when dealing with mental health struggles you can get control over them, but they usually don’t go away completely. So I think it will go into Tyler’s way of describing jurisdictions. I could see Nico being defeated and the control the Bishops have over Tyler minimized, but there will still be anxiety, fear of losing someone, etc. Many of the fears represented through each of the different bishops are normal. But the victory will be a freedom from the suffocating control that Dema and the Bishops had over Tyler, which can give others hope in their struggles and journey out of their own version of Dema. And I could see the elements of Vialism and the glorification of the neon gravestones dismantled as part of the ultimate victory.
My question is whether Tyler will continue to wear the black on his hands and throat after the end of the next era. That might be the symbolism of the victory and freedom - a release from the controlling power of Blurryface. Or would he still use it as a reminder that he needs to constantly fight to overcome those fears?
As for timing, I think we will see teasers and maybe letter(s) from Clancy in the Spring. I could see them releasing a pre-release single and doing some summer festival shows. Then I would anticipate more content and narrative providing the framework for the final chapter leading into the fall along with an official video. And they would likely announce a major tour to coincide with the album release. So I think the earliest that would be is the Fall. But if we don’t start getting the teasers until the summer, then I think the whole timeline shifts and the album release would be after the holidays. I’m sure Tyler has a lot of thoughts and plans of how the conclusion of the storyline will play out, and his meticulous perfectionist nature won’t rush it. This final chapter will be deeply personal and meaningful to him.
7:17 Maybe the not full victory is that not all the people in Dema escape, and this may be teased in the Nico and the Niners lyric "We'll win but not everyone will get out"
Yeah, many clique theorists believe that the ending will be a "truce" because not everyone escapes therefore it isn't a victory for the Banditos.
I've been exploring all kinds of twenty one pilots theories and this one legit gives me the good ol' lady bug theory videos vibes(kinda nostalgic, I was obsessed with LB a few years ago(before 4th and 5th season came out, but I'm so eager to return and watch them) and watched a Russian youtuber Sinta who made theories about and reviewed LB, now that I think about it, butterflies...indoctrination...chrysalis...blurryface...it's as if akumas(dark butterflies/moths from lady bug) are controlling(chrysaling/indoctrinating) people and blurryface takes over them(they also feed on negative emotions OoO) and akumas give off purple aura(LB and TOP might be using the same inspiration for symbolism, if purple chrysalis butterflies are next), (chrysalis kind of sounds like crystal), I remember characters in MLP who are like chrysalis and have butterfly wings(or firefly wings like LP soldier jk) or moth wings or something(I don't remember much of MLP's lore though, haven't been following it for a while), you may think why I'm mentioning other fandoms, whatever, I'm just having fun(maybe I should be writing cross-over fanfiction, I have so many ideas like Dema and melancholy town...Amenhotep from Clicker Heroes meets Killbi from Wakfu and they go on an adventure across the universes together...crybaby in the -sanity- gravity fall universe...underground...monsters...I must stop, half of the readers don't even know what I'm talking about...))
I've also thought that the next album should have purple in it, because they haven't used it yet(I mean I still think so, strongly, also purple is my favorite color, it's so mysterious and beatiful, lighting up), even though the self-titled album already had some purple-green thing going on(but that was before they signed up with a label, before all the music videos, posters and merch, so there's nothing really for it come from except the album cover, I think if I'll look at the self-titled album cover enough it'll give me more hints on something for their future album)
Oh, and also the first video that comes up when you search "Twenty One Pilots - Two"(an old Twenty One Pilots song posted with House of Gold for free after RAB) is in purple(just a fan lyric video, but I think purple goes so well with the vibe of the song, it's so cosmic and the lyrics are so abstract and I like that, it could be about how you're different people around someone else and you're "two", but it could be anything, that's what I like about music(and more than that)), I mentioned that because when I thought about purple and chrysalis, it reminded me of this song and that specific video.
Also, something tells me that we'll see more of yellow-eyed Tyler(like in The Outside music video). Red eyes are when Blurryface takes over(bishops) and yellow eyes must be when he takes control(banditos), that's why when his eyes light up in yellow, he controls one of the bishops and kills him. And we know that yellow is in the opposite side(maybe that's taking strength from union of all clique banditos' energy or something). And all this indoctrinate/chrysalis/blurryface makes me think that blurryface will "change"(I don't know what that might mean yet, but I think it has to do something with his eyes too).
Redecorate is the direction Tyler said the next album will be going in, and its lyrics speak about changes, "morphing", "faking", so chrysalis and butterflies fit in there, fits with your theory

I'm just so surprised and fascinated by how twenty one pilots put so much connections between albums and lore and somehow manage to make each thing mean multiple different things at the same time. Let me show you what I mean:

1. The greek psyche symbol(means butterfly, change, butterfly effect from this video)
2. A weapon called sai(which is literally an abrieviature for their latest album's name which has that as a symbol) which was even showed and used in one of the music videos(does it mean that basically change is a weapon, like diversity, moving on?)
3. East is up(looks like an e on a stick)
4. A cutout part of -FPE- where only E is present and has a strikethrough(that way we know it's facing upwards, 'cause you read from left to right, right?)
5. A trident, goes well with the marine theme of Saturday
-6. Also looks like a candle or cactus but I don't know what candle or cactus have to do with this-
SAI is...
1. Scaled and icy(as in Trash(the dragon from the cover art of their latest album representing music) is scaled(he literally has scales) and icy(cold, because in real life reptiles are cold on touch, so I guess if dragons existed they would count as reptiles and also would have cold skin(scales) even though they breathe fire(he learned to firebreathe in the 7th grade))
2. Scaled[back] and isolated(the album came out during quarantine and scaled back and isolated is how everyone is in quarantine, and also the banditos and bishups are ISOLATED in Dema(reminds me of Attack On Titan or Gorillaz, but I'm off topic again))
3. An anogram for "Clancy is dead"(it means you could make "Clancy is dead" out of the same letters as in "scaled and icy", and that's also three words)
-FPE- is...
1. Few, proud, emotional(as in Fairly Local: "This song will never be on radio, even if my clique will pick and people will vote, it's only for the *few*, the *proud*, the *emotional*", which is a song from Blurryface and the -FPE- has a strikethrough as the words on the Blurryface cover)
2. Failed perimeter escape(when Clancy tried to escape Dema)

That must be hard, like, it seems as if he planned the whole thing beforehand, because adding up to what he has is harder, or maybe the opposite, it would be easier, I don't know, but coming up with so much stuff must be hard(I mean these all are just fan theories, but depending on how much ideas are combined in Twenty One Pilots symbols are actually intended and on purpose), like look at this:
Slowtown, Forest, Screen, Stressed Out and Pet Cheetah include the themes of Tyler wanting to slow down(the names Slowtown, Stressed Out and Pet Cheetah even speak for themselves)
However, Forest, Stressed Out and Chlorine have these lines:
"I want to be a king, swinging on a swing, something happened in my imagination, situation's becoming dire, my treehouse is on fire and for some reason I smell gas on my hands, this is not what I had planned, this is not what I had planned"
"But it would remind us of when nothing really mattered, out of student loans and treehouse homes we all would take the latter/ladder(officially latter, but kind of a pun with ladder, but I'm going off track here)"

And the self-titled album cover has A TREEHOUSE on it(besides all the other things).
It's a subtle story progression!
This whole treehouse thing ties in with the themes of broken dreams in House of Gold and We Don't Believe What's On TV(both are ukulele songs btw)
And The Hype has a reference to Stressed Out, Heavydirtysoul is connected to Jumpsuit, if you put Redecorate on top of the Nico And The Niners music video, it fits perfectly with the rhythm...and so on...
It's like there is a red line between each component of Twenty One Pilots...music, lyrics, album art, merch, cryptic website/social media messages, events, moves, music videos, stage actions, album and song names
As you can see I'm obsessed with this band...
Also sai album has a lot of themes related to drugs so it might be related to the whole indoctrinated thing(maybe I'm paying too much attention at the meaning of an album that isn't even an actual continuation of the Dema storyline, but I like to speculate)
Oh, sorry that I wrote such a long comment, I just get so fixated on things sometimes...(but I think that's okay on this channel)
Also, I have so many theories about the "o" with a strikethrough, but this comment is getting too big.
I like how Twenty One Pilots always give so much food for thought but don't resolve or give everything away, like Lady Bug script writers...(But I'm not saying someone is better, just two seperate things, not gonna compare)

4:15 I have seen a theory that the next album's logo may be "Omega",I think,they may have said a different name but what's important that I heard is that SAI is represented by the letter psi,which is in the Greek alphabet(psi).

Purple is associated with royalty; it represents wisdom, imagination, madness, creativity, mystery and magic.may end up with the bishops.on the negative: Introversion, decadence, suppression,maybe they can't get out of dema .... suppression means Elimination, disappearance may also be the end of twentyone pilots.
In regards to the positive meaning: the meaning of creativity and imagination would heavily match speculation of what is happening next era alongside the over arching message of finding purpose through creating. If music is the way to defeat the bishops because it is something that defines the individual and gives them purpose through creativity, having a colour representing that as the last era in the trench story could possibly reinforce a happier ending. On the flip side, as you said it means elimination. I don't necessarily think it will be the end of tøp (they have confirmed they aren't planning on stopping after this next era) but it could signify the end of the Banditos, the end of a battle or the end of the cycle. Maybe next era ends in a Truce that restarts the cycle?
Another thing with the butterflies is that saying with a hurricane can start when a butterfly flaps its wings, like the cause and effect thing? There might be something like that

I feel like going along with the album cover idea I feel like something going along with the second verse of migraine where tyler says, "I'm telling you green gardens are not what's growing in my psyche it's a different me a difficult beast feasting on burnt down trees" I'm not sure what it could mean exactly but i'm sure someone will have a better idea.

Sai era was incredibly short + sai era was announced as finished on the 1st of Jan + hiatus was a year without content, waiting for it to fit the three year album cycle would leave longer than a year without content + they said they wouldn't do that again = album in 2023

So I think the album is going to be called something to with war. The reason I say this is because there is a pattern in the twenty one pilots albums name where there is an album that has a title which is war related and then one that is not.
twenty one pilots- war related (airforce)
Regional at Best- not war related
Vessel- war related (navy)
Blurryface- not war related
Trench- war related (the soldiers fighting in the trenches)
Scaled and Icy- not war related
Therefore I predict the next album title is going to be war-related. I think it might have something to with butterflies because at the end of WW2, butterflies were a symbol of peace but it could also be called butterfly effect, which I saw on a post on twenty one pilots twitter

Plus, Tyler has mentioned he wants to make further stories out of this, and I don't really think there is any chance for a future narrative if the Banditos win and the bishops all die or something

this is very irrelevant, but I actually loved MANIA when it came out. Then I heard the public perception, and I haven't been able to listen to it the same since :(
If you love an album, don't let public perception change your love for it! I'm personally not a FOB fan so I don't really know what songs were in the album mania, I just know that some people didn't like it. But! Others' opinions should never sway your music taste; if you like something, go for it! It's your playlist at the end of the day :D

@@Good_Day_Dema It was some interview where they answered what genre they are(and they mentioned schizophrenic pop, slam poetry, ukulele screamo and so on, but I didn't watch the interview, I only saw a pinterest picture with all these made up genres to describe twenty one pilots)

were any theories for previous albums correct?
So I joined around about end of blurryface and started my channel after the release of trench so if you're asking about my track record, some of my theories were correct and some of them weren't.
You can take a look for yourself but in the previous next era speculations I did for SAI, I theorised that next album would be blue and that the album itself would focus on how Dema functions. Whilst SAI is multi-coloured, if you look a lot at the MVS, outfits etc, it is a fundamentally a blue era.
As for the clique's track record in predicting things, they did successfully predict the trench era would be yellow. They also managed to predict the song title jumpsuit.

@@kaedendansereau599 no problem! The clique tend to be particularly good with predicting era colours mainly, whilst release dates and names tend to fall under loose speculation based on past experiences.

Yeah, this problem is one that frustrates me the most tbh. The reason for this is because I don't have a microphone, so I basically have to hold up my phone and use its internal microphone when I record which is a pain when it comes to editing. I am planning on trying to get a microphone at some point! The last time I did so it was essentially a cheap one that didn't work, so I'm doing some research to find out what is affordable and a viable option.
Really sorry about the audio tho, I promise I'm trying to fix it :')
