Been to this place many times as a kid while I was on vacation. Good to see it still going! My favorite tank is the one with live coral, I love real reef tanks. The big tank with rays is also pretty spectacular, and I love that you get to pet them.
Thank you for showing the aquarium. It's a very nice relaxing place to hang out especially on a hot day. I'm sure with Summer coming the corner it's going to be busy and crowded! 🥵🌞 It will probably start this weekend with Memorial Day. The penguins and sloths are so cute! Good to see Cheddar too! 🦞🧡 Hope you and Brian are doing well! 🥰
It’s actually crowded most of the year except November through mid February. That’s why we try to get there right when they open because it gets packed fast! Thanks hope you’re doing well also! 😊
Really nice video Carmen. I've been there one time in 2000 with my kids and my mom and cousins. It's looks quite different now. We have our own aquariums in our homes and enjoy them alot. Thanks for posting.
Been there a few different times. Its nice but in my opinion it doesn't flow very well with large crowds. The mermaid show is nice but they need to put in a decent. Speaker. System for the employee who does a presentation. Barley able to hear them. And from another you tube poster. He pointed out the what. For better terms was lack of content/fish. He showed the current and the same from a different visit amd fish. Count seemed alot smaller than before. And during main tourist season i to would recommend going early. To beat the. Crowds. As usual ty for another great myrtle video. Never gets tired seeing my hopeful. Retirement home. Cant wait.till august for vacation
We really enjoy the aquarium. Maybe because we always go early to avoid the crowds as you said. Glad you enjoyed the video! August will be here before you know it!
Does myrtle beach or anywhere in SC do anything special like fireworks, etc for New Years Eve? I'll be in Myrtle Beach and surrounding area Dec 31-Jan 7th -- first time!
Yes, there are a tons of fireworks for New Year’s Eve. Broadway at the beach usually has fireworks at 8 PM so that small children can enjoy them too. The city of Myrtle Beach usually has them at the 2nd Avenue pier, but it can change so you need to check closer to your trip. Also, the market comment has a really big New Year’s Eve bash, but I’m not sure if they have fireworks. I know they do have a ball drop, and they usually telecast of the Times Square stuff. Of course, all of this is subject to change, but you should be able to check the website for those three places closer to your trip. We hope you have a great time!
As a tourist from UK coming to Myrtle Beach in August, 2 adults and 1 child (10yr old) what type of ticket would you recommend to buy if we wanted to visit 1 or more of the Ripley Attractions. We are over 3 weeks. Entrance fees seem quite high so looking for the best value. We definitely want to go to the Aquarium. Thanks for any advice.
Normally, on their website, you can get a ticket that will get you into all of their attractions one time. Or you can buy an annual pass that will let you in to all of the attractions multiple times. However, currently they are only selling the aquarium plus one, and that’s because all of their other attractions are under construction right now, except for Ripleys believe it or not odditorium. We will post when the other attractions open on our UA-cam channel, but you can also keep an eye on Ripleys website for them to add the multi attraction ticket back. We hope you have a great trip!
Thankyou so much for your quick response. Much appreciated. Will keep watching your videos for more information on myrtle beach they are very helpful and looking forward to our trip there.
Yes you can buy tickets at the window. The gift shop is huge and has a lot different options, but you're forced to walk through it as you exit so you'll see it either way.
Maybe they can add SpongeBob designs and screen show of him and Patrick jellyfishing inside jellyfish fields as they can have a SpongeBob and Patrick meet and greet as it can add a new bit of excitement and they should sell sea monkeys and sea monkey items as to add to their business of an aquarium.
Are you excited about the sloths? Leave a comment! Watch next - BEST restaurants at Broadway at the Beach! ua-cam.com/video/7pVgiWdfOMQ/v-deo.html

We’ve always enjoyed aquariums and zoos, and this one is no different! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Have you ever did a tour of Alligator Adventure in North Myrtle Beach? (Barefoot Landing) That was pretty cool when we went last year.
We have been there, but we don’t have a video on it. We definitely need to go back!
Awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
At 5'1", I can totally relate to being able to fit into smaller spaces lol!! ;)
Yes! Not too many advantages so we have to take them where we can get them!
@@CarmenandBrian True story! Lol
Last time me and my family went there was 2 years ago lots of new stuff including that crocodile skeleton pretty cool wonder what species it is
Yes they have done a lot of new stuff in the last two years!

Haven't been there since 2012, hoping to go again this summer from Hawaii ❤
Wow that's quite a trip! We hope you're able to visit!
Question
On the penguin exhibit
How do you get to where you can see the penguins in tube that was seen on video
There is a tunnel at ground level you crawl in. It's designed for kids but adults can fit too if you don't mind crawling on hands & knees :)
And yea a whole lot of tourists take pictures at the penguin area

That's us! :)
Question
Are you able to buy tickets at the window before you explore the place or does it have to be done online
Is the goft shop worth seeing
Yes you can buy tickets at the window. The gift shop is huge and has a lot different options, but you're forced to walk through it as you exit so you'll see it either way.
Thank you reason I ask I'm considering visiting this place this summer
One more question
On glass bottom boat ride where do you purchase tickets for this attraction
I would ask at the front where you buy the tickets to get in. They sometimes offer bundles for additional attractions.
Haven’t been since camp as a youngan
I see what you mean the chameleon does look like pascal
😀

Interesting ideas!
Taking my gf ts weekend
Enjoy!!
