I've been meaning to bring our dramatic artist back for a while now, but when I saw the channel was close to 50k I bumped her up on the schedule as a silly lil celebration. So- THANK YOU ALL FOR 50K HOLY MOLY. 🎉 You are all masterpieces. 💛💛💛

This series is so fun for me as a painter because she's so dramatically serious and seemingly pretentious about her art and then she pulls out craft paint and the tiniest brushes I've ever seen. I like to imagine she's just pretending to know what she's doing to have an excuse to paint us for so long
(genuinely no shade- I use craft paint and too small brushes a lot for even "serious" paintings because expensive supplies stress me out. Its honestly reassuring to see them show up)
The cheap brushes and paint was funny, considering her overdramatic artist persona! 😄
Same, the craft paints killed me 😂 also I know not many people are aware, but phthalo is pronounced thay-low. The ph throws everyone off. It's the soft speaking and poetic revelations that matter the most though
she's back!! I love her, she's so soothing - I love how she's just complete melodrama at first but as the roleplays go on some of her words start to have genuine wisdom. not sure if I'm prepared for the ~Weight~... of my eyelids falling down as I doze off to another masterpiece

Narratively, the progression from video to video and the way it feels like our relationship with the artist is growing is so well done and organic and interesting. I love the genuinely touching rambling and the way that ideas and phrases come back around again and again in very soothing and logical loops.
More personally, I've watched a lot of ASMR and had a lot of different reactions but i think this might be the first video that gave me the urge to go write poetry which is a delightful new experience ❤

I love the fact that she knows all the procedures for painting such as prepping the canvas! It makes it more realistic and this kinda taught me more on how to paint so I learned from this as well! :D
Edit: (if you look at the back of the canvas you can sometimes see what she is actually drawing and I thought it looked like a witch hat at one point :D)
I paint with acrylics on canvas, and her tiny brushes and cheaper craft paint added an extra level of humour to the pretentious artist persona. 😁

Congrats on 50k and thank you for the return of the artist!! In case it wasn’t just the dramatic artist who didn’t know, Pthalo blue is pronounced “THAY-low” the P is silent :) it’s one of my favorite paint colors!
I thought it was "THAH-lo" blue with short /a/ sound , going by Bob Ross haha.
