Thank for posting. I was debating on this bike since it’s cheaper than a mx350. If you do other mods to the hyper please post videos, there isn’t much out there.
@itsmo26 thanks ,I am planning on upgrading the motor and controller soon and of course it'll be posted, good luck with you build and don't hesitate to ask me anything about anything!😁
@iananderson859 here's a link to the charger. 42V 2A Electric Scooter Charger with 5 Plugs - Universal Battery Replacement Charger for 36V Lithium Battery, Fast Scooter Charger Compatible with Razor, Gotrax, Ninebot, Segway, Jetson, Hiboy a.co/d/7IO9rGV
@xneuen2076 so for the hyper 350 it comes with a 24v lead acid batteries but you can Overvolt it to 36v but I recommend getting any 36v lithium battery along as it fits into battery compartment and Get a overvolted kit from ebay or a 36v 500w brushed controller that comes with a throttle from Amazon or aliexspress. I went with the kit from ebay but Amazon does sell the same controller and throttle. I'll drop a link for you.
@xneuen2076 Brushed DC Motor Speed &Controller, Throttle Twist Grips E-Bike Scooter Tricycle Speed Controller Motor of 500W 24V 36V 48V a.co/d/0d5XWJr This is the exact same one that I used .I thought I got the one from ebay but I was wrong this is the one I used,I had to repurpose a few of the plugs from the old controller but it's really straight forward and easy to do.good luck and don't hesitate to hit me up if you have any questions?
@xneuen2076 what you can do is get 2×36v lithium hover board batteries and connect them in parallel and 2 of them fit perfect in the battery compartment and they are quite cheap .this might work but you'll have to check if it will fit. 36V 30Ah E-Bike Lithium-Ion Battery Pack, for 150W-500W Motor, Rechargeable Replacement Battery Pack, with 42V 2A Charger Built-in BMS a.co/d/1FA6uoS Or 2 of these or o e of them but will probably only give you 35-30min of riding but would work fine. 36V 4.4AH Lithium Li-ion Battery Replacement a.co/d/9oV393o Hope this all helps!?
@xneuen2076 ya that's no problem it's ny pleasure, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, that dam day job keeps me busy!! Lol!! So wish I could make a living running my channel but gotta bankroll this hobby somehow ,😄 Have fun and ride safe!!
I want to do the upgrade. Looking at the Amazon links I dont see the charger needed for the new 36V battery, can you add it please. And is that volrage reader actually nessasary? Ty
@drewgrows7765 here's the one that is the same as mine but it comes with multiple plugs so you can use it for other 36v bikes or scooters, it's actually better and for same price. amzn.to/49HBTi9
The controller has connections for lights and an alarm, just make sure your controller is powered up by turning the throttle and if the motor turns you have power. Then just connect your lights to the labeled plugs on controller but you will have to make sure your lights are 36v compatible, if not you'll have to get a 36v to 12v dc to dc converter because Most lights /displays/alarms/sterios are run on 12v so a converter is needed . So lights to the converter and converter connects to the controller. Hope that helps
If you dm me I can send you the link for the exact controller and then it's just a matter of matching up the wires but depending on what controller you have ,like I had to take a few plugs from the stock controller and transfer to new controller, that way after all appropriate plugs are installed on new controller it's just plug a play. Let me know,I can even walk you through when your doing the switch. Thanks for watching!!
Hey man, I’m just wondering how you stripped the battery and where you got your other after market parts like the: controller and the throttle that you were talking about in the other guys comment.
@maliksalem9649 so you can get a controller from a few places,amazon/ebay/ aliexspress, but the best place is from ebay because of the consistent quality here's a link, www.ebay.ca/itm/223512120669?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=QParOF1BS3u&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=m6bat5hdrgs&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@howardrennaker-py8ri yes the speed has almost doubled and my son gets about 30min on a 36v 7ah lithium battery, the more amp hours the better,I've also added another 36v 7ah in parallel to double the range,so depending on how hard he's riding he gets about an hour of ride time.
Hiiii I’m working on my own 350 hpr rn (I’m twelve) where did you buy the batteries from?, also do you have any other upgrade recommendations?? Thanks 🙏
@FIN2K you just get a 36v battery from Amazon or get your parents to help you order a better quality one from ,amorgepower.com. you can't go wrong with there batteries. Also with a 36v lithium battery and a 500w controller and throttle kit from Amazon or aliexspress you'll get some pretty good power from the motor the bike came with, you could go up to 48v lithium but then you should upgrade the controller to 1000w and the motor to 1000w aswell because the current motor can only handle 36v max!! Personally I'd gp 48v with 1000w motor/controller and buy the battery from amorgepower.com and measure the compartment where the battery sits and give those measurements to amorge and they will build you a battery to fit, also you can cut the plastics so you can fit as big of a battery possible, 48v with as many amp hours as possible to give you as much distance possible with that battery. Good luck and don't hesitate to ask me anything you need help with!😁
It's not bad for the price and for 2 sons 6 and 8 it's perfect, now that I overvolted it with the 36v lithium battery its awesome but I recommend just upgrading the controller because I had to take the reset breaker button because it kept tripping because to many amps for the 24v controller I think ? Now when the controller or bms trips I have plug in the charger to reset which sucks so better off to just put a 36v 500w controller with the 36v lithium battery and it'll be perfect. Also should put a throttle with the 3 speed switch because it really rips now and can get a Lil scary until they get used to the extra power. Good luck and thanks for watching!!
Thanks man, gonna try this. I am not much for sodering, do I need the volt meter. Also, will any 36v lithium 4.4 amp battery work? thanks man, you're awesome.
@ScottEdgecombe-p1p any 36v lithium battery will work along as it fits,I mean you could put a 36v 50ah lithium battery in there if it'll fit, just measure your battery compartment and make sure whatever battery you use will fit!
@NorthPhilly_Bul so 36v is pretty good for my 6year old but like you could go 48v but it really depends on the kid,if they are confident and capable then you could go 48v but that would do 35-40kph with a 500w controller and even faster with a 1000w so if they are just starting out 20-25kph is enough and if you find that it's not enough then up it to 48v, also remember if you do go to 48v then your gonna need to put in a higher voltage motor and controller, the stock motor can only handle 36v with 500w controller. Good luck!
@ so today was his birthday… surprised him with it… he can’t even drive it without putting his feet down… so I’m going to hold off on the super charge…
@SarahWeidner-s9o so you bought new brakes and neither of the two are working?? Does it work eith the old ones? Try the old ones if it works then you know it's either connected wrong or faulty.

Do you have a video on stripping the wires and connectors?
@patrickwilson511 no unfortunately, but i can make a video about it ,can you please tell me exactly what you need you know and we can go from there
Pretty smart, only issues I see is using the provided 24V charger to now charge your new 36V battery.
Your totally right I actually bought a 36v charger for it,not possible to use the 24v
@@EmmohandymanCould you please post which kind of charger you bought?

would the NQBY 36V 4.4AH Lithium Li-ion work? it looks like it has only one connector.
