Thank you so much for posting this! I'm waiting on a Pinball G&W to arrive, and I'm hoping the reason it's dim is because of the polarizer. This gives me hope that I can fix it easily!

I'm sure you will get it working well, good luck!

Brilliant and Interesting as always. Nice watch too, I'm currently wearing my Squale 1521 Ocean Blasted. I'm a huge fan of the Seiko Divers and Casio G-Shock watches.

I also have quite the collection, but wear the Garmin purely as functionally it ticks all the boxes with full running analytics, smart features, wifi, GPS, BT and crazy long battery life. I dug out that Sony SW50 I got around a year ago and never wore, that is disappointing. Probably my favourites are my Titanium MTM Falcon and my Casio G-Shock waveceptor (the first waveceptor they made!)

Can you try a different piezo buzzer to see if it's just the buzzer that's faulty?

That part were you were taking off that polarizing filter off the old tablet made me feel uncomfortable. I could only imagine me trying to do that only to accidentally cut myself pretty bad. 😣

Hi, I dont know if you will ever see this. But I have a 1989 nintendo zelda wrist watch with an lcd game on the screen. I have had it since I was a kid, and it recently stopped working. I replaced the battery but it didn't help. New ones online run over $100, and I would rather try and fix it myself. Thoughts?

i have 4 game and watches now and unfortunately they all are now fading beyond use. i have to tilt them a certain way just to see any characters at all.

+rubberwoody It sure is! You can fix them using the steps in my video and they will be back to the way Nintendo intended them! Good luck! 😀

Actually, you could probably buy polarizing filters on the internet.

Since my aluminium back reflector has those burnt marks, I am looking for the replacement of it? Do you have any suggestion?

    • @backofficeshow

I do not, but I will ask around. Also you can buy some really thing sheets of aluminium or stainless. Those are thin enough to cut with scissors
