Just learning to bead 2023. This video was so helpful. Thank you.
Hi Mani 👋😀 hope you're having a wonderful day today 👍😃
You are such a wonderful teacher! Thank you so much for all the hard work making these great videos! 😊
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I love how you explain everything so clearly. I’ve been struggling with getting The ends and you helped greatly.
Love your teaching on the pattern doing it right now just love the pattern and how you show with close up in doing the pattern and the ending love love beading keep up the good work
I like that you use the double threads on each end
Agree! I love that look, and had never heard of it. Thanks Mani!🥰
Migwich! Thankyou for this detailed video, making one for my niece
Super loved this video!!! I had done a bracelet with the lobster clasp, although it looked pretty, they are a pain to close!! I really liked the decrease and doubled edges. I did one with 9 rows and decreased with the same method 9, 7, 5, 3, 1 and it looks great. I would imagine if you had a wider piece you could possibly tie off some of your vertical strings to take out some of the bulk.
I didn't have any of the C-Lon cotton thread, but used some of my friendship bracelet thread. It did the job. Not sure how the durability is in the long run compared to the other, but it does offer lots of color choices for now.
Also, I was using wildfire for my entire pieces before, but I LOVE the softness of the vertical threading and durability of the nylon for the stringing. It will save me some bucks being able to use the C-Lon and lend to more color choices.
Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks. There were so many cool nuggets throughout the video.
I pray you receive 10 fold the blessings you give to others. 😎
Love your details on the finishing of the bead work great for the beginner. Thank you
I love your tutorials you are such a good teacher,,,,Thankyou
Thankyou!!
I was gonna go out and buy a proper loom(~$25 in my local craft store) and then after watching your video realized I could use this old picture frame I've had sitting around.
These tutorials are so practical and informative!!
I am so glad you are able to use a picture frame to create something wonderful. If you love it and make a lot, a loom can make it easier. But get a good one. Check out my videos on different types of looms
Hi Manie, I love this video, you did an excellent job explaining the process, thank you. Can you please tell me what kind of *needle* you used? I’d like to buy a small needle like yours and want to be sure it’ll fit 11/0 seed beads. Also love the bracelet you’re wearing. Any chance you can do a tutorial on this one? Thanks in advance. 💜
That's brilliant to poke up the needle each time. I just started using a loom a few days ago and I love it! *Seriously don't understand why you don't have more subs, you're an excellent teacher.
Hi my name is Alaa I’m from Egypt/Cairo i love your tutorials im learning from you a lot im a beginner and so confused what kind of thread i should use on the loom and on the needle so please can you tell me what is the best thread to use for all projects and thank you so much ❤
I like nymo thread but you can use what you like. for this piece I used a heavier thread on the loom to thicken up the warp for braiding later and make the piece sturdier. The warp thread you can use what you like as long as you can get through the beads a few times. Just a hint: you want to almost fill the beads so that they don't spin and eventually work through the tread. So I used a thread that would fill the bead in 3 passes since I was mostly doing 2. So your bead size tells you what to use.
I love this video. Thank you so much for posting it. Would you tell me the length of the beaded section, the final size of the bracelet including the braided sections? If possible what size wrists this would fit ?
What needle fits the C-Lon and 11/0 beads? Please. YOU are a great teacher!!
Hello Teresa, C-Lon is a brand name of thread and cording. It can come in many sizes. You will need to get the finest available to so you can get it to work with the smaller seed beads. The Bead Shop.com has great descriptions of what C-Lon works for what. Check out there wonderful informational free tutorials and packages
A great video, I am new to loom work and have so many problems with closures, you have made it a lot easier for me. I am unable to get size 10 seed beads can you recommend another size.
I look forward to your next video fantastic and no horrible background music.
Also I can't seem to find loom series part 1
Hello Jenny, You can use seed beads that are 11/0 or 8/0 or any size you like. That is the fun part of looming. When you are first learning it is easier if you use all the same size, no matter what size you use. Once you get the hang of it you can mix and match. You can find the whole looming series if you click on The Playlist tab, or you can follow this link ua-cam.com/video/pC2NMqKi2pM/v-deo.html
Just started watching this and was curious - why use 2 outside threads, just personal preference? :)
When you use two outside threads you get a stronger bracelet where the friction point - most commonly on the outside when wearing - will have to wear through two. Plus I like the way it looks.
Mani
How do I add a lobster clasp or a toggle clasp to this method please? Could you please show how? Thank you for a reply
Is it easy to put together .can get the beads at Walmart ? It looks really hard
How wide of a bracelet could you use this finishing technique with? I see you used 5 beads across for this demonstration but what about 13? Would that be too big and should I use a different closure or do you think this could still work? Thanks!
You can go wider but you have to watch your tension. If you weave to tight the whole piece will curl into itself. The ends will have to be braided into sections and then together, so you will need long ends. Again be careful of your tension. Pull to hard and it will make the piece curl. I hope this helps.
How to tie the end of beads so they dont fall out
love your loom tutorials i am learning to loom bead my problem is i cant find any videos on Decreases and increases on the bead loom would you happen to have any loom videos on this ; :)
I understand what you mean. What I show you is the basics. increasing, unless you are in the main body of the work and are only doing that with bead size, is much harder then decreasing after the main body of the work is done. Most people do it that way. There are a few Spanish videos I think, that might give you some clues if you are already comfortable with the basics.
👍👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹😍😍😍😍😍😍🇩🇿
Is there anyone way I can finish of doing my loom bracelet without have to do this step?
I'm new to making look bracelets that's one step in struggling with, is how to finish up
Nicole, good luck on your journey. Several of my videos show finishing techniques, so enjoy picking one that works for you.
I know you explained how to finish the beaded part but can you make a video that shows it.
