I absolutely know what you mean, truly. You it into words perfectly! It's a masterpiece, but it ultimately made me feel very depressed and almost shut me down inside. I'm learning how to function again, how to believe in things, everything... I think that if any piece of media has such a strong influence on someone, it's doing something right. It's that it could take only one genius to influence a whole generation, AOT is the embodiment of pure art. You may think im overreacting but this, this is actually a beautiful masterpiece. Unfortunate that some people just doesn't like the series that much.
