- Welcome back! This episode we're going over the battery we use while living on the road full-time and why we chose the one we did after many years using a system we didn't like.
You can browse the battery we use here:

What a set up ⚡️
They do know how to make a bloody good battery that’s for sure
Thanks Glenn!
Thank you for the battery information. It was very helpful.
Good info Thanks 👍
sounds like a great battery. small size is useful
Hi Glenn - really interested in what you said about the HiTech 120X overcoming the problems of internal storage in hot weather, etc. I was seriously thinking about getting one about a year ago but my 4WD club had a presentation by a Redarc rep and I think we all came away with doubts. However, you seem to be convinced as to its safety, etc so I might revisit (I have a Redarc system with two hard solar panels on the roof and a 100 AGM battery inside). I am in Perth BTW. Cheers, Steve
A led acid battery lasts 400-700 cycles and a lithium can last up to 4000 cycles. I think it's only really been recent that it's really become a worthy investment. As I said, I wasn't convinced but now it seems a clear winner in my eyes :) hope this helps mate
What’s the life span of the lithium battery
Hi Glen & Kendall, I recently (6 months ago) went from AGM to Lithium. Are you charging them when driving via a DC to DC charger? They really shine if charged to 14.6volts. Would be interested to see that aspect with the Landie.
We charge with redarc system when driving and our redarc solar panel when we are parked up. So far it's performed amazingly!
@@KendallandGlenn Thanks, I somehow missed your run through of it when I asked, looks great.- I just sold my series 3 SWB, sellers remorse already...
