I love the footage of Los Angeles back in the early 1950's before it was completed decimated by the almighty freeways. The footage of trolley lines down Hollywood Blvd. and the movie theatres with their huge marquees was a thrilling view into the past culture of LA when LA could still claim to have some kind of culture.
You, and all the half-way house cons? Keep your wallet in your hands. I used to stay across a few blocks, down by the Old Press Club when it was by the Holly Wood Moose Lodge.
