It just amazes me how much of a cult it is. Of course I am a huge fan of the franchise, but it is really rare to find any one irl that know Touhou. However, the few people that know it actually love it and gather in places like this to get HYPER!

@@calebbekker4127 For those who suck at danmaku there are also fighting games and interesting character backgrounds, plus tons of stuff made by fans (games, music, fanart, manga, even anime, and anything else, really). And I mean TONS. Many years ago Touhou became something huge, despite it being just a game series made by one man (the fighting games, while canon, are made by other guys though).
@@calebbekker4127 I was never that good at bullet hells to begin with, take this advice, if you don't feel like bullet hells or the fighting games are your thing, try with fangames. The first touhou-related game I played was Luna Nights (metroidvania), and it was a banger. Also, hearing the original Th6 songs after listening to Luna nights' OST was mind blowing.

So honest opinion . Am i the only one that prefers Youkai Mountain ~ Misterious Mountain as Aya theme than Wind God Girl ? I know Wind God Gil represents more her Newspaper girl but i prefer the song that shows her as a Tengu.
