If an invader did waqf a lot of land then the next ruler should have the right to reverse it too. That’s just common logic.

The wakf property should be managed not controlled by Govt through their higher officials. And the accountability should be made for any inconsistencies of works of wakf property. If we give a huge amount of properties to a private individual or private group then it would be a higher chance of corruption with regard to that properties. The wakf should be run as as statutory body and accountability should be made to that body and transparency of work should be made. However, previous govt whether it's English govt before independence or indian govt (post independence) managed the wakf drama for thier political benefits and that's why the core interest of wakf properties was compromised..
