Ham Radio Q: How Many Watts for RG316? | 100 Watts and a Wire

RG316, has excellent power handling capabilities due to the high thermal conductivity it should be rated about 580 watts at 100mhz and 280 watts at 400mhz.

I have used 100 watts with RG-316 running mobile without issue

I wouldn't be as worried about 50 watts near as much as the length and the dB loss on VHF and UHF
