Are you living in a box? There’s so much music where lyrics and flows are important...Saba, J Cole, Kendrick, Denzel Curry, JID, the list goes on and on. Also these lyrics are not “deep” they have meaning and that is basically it. Deep lyrics require exploration and understanding beyond surface level.
Griffin Coleman obviously you didn't listen to this song, it is deep. Deep has a very broad meaning, especially in this sense. J coles deep has a very strong sense of the word's meaning, that does not make this song any less deep though.
