Thanks Travis! I just realized how I have been screwing myself by simply trying to control the crossface arm at the wrist.
Whaaaaaaaht?! This is awesome. If I’m on passing from standing (trying) I’m defending in half guard. This is a great set of often overlooked details. Many thanks, Travis!
That was really helpful 👍
Absolutely amazing tutorial
Hey it's that guy who models all of Fuji's stuff.

Hi Travis, I would like to start practicing judo but I am 45 years old. What do you think of people over 40 who start judo and what would be your advice. Thanks a lot.
Regards from Montreal.
Never give up.

Never doubt yourself j go for what your heart desires👍🏽
I started jiujitsu at 37. Best thing that happened to me. Only thing I can advice is go easy on every class because your joints and back are very valuable… don’t hurt yourself just to win a scrap. Train technique only and you’ll soon be better than those that are using a lot of strength, it allows you to train more often since it takes less for your body to recover
I know a guy who is in his 50s and is incredibly good at Judo. Guy is just built different
