1. Saim has played 20+ games and he proved to be a total flop show. (No fifty, S.R of 128-130). But no one will talk about him because he is from Karachi. (Now compare him to M. Haris who has played only 9 games and from 9 games he played 3 impactful innings in the bigger stages of the game WC 22)
2. Azam Khan is burden on team. Can't do wicket keeping, can't bat, fitness in minus points.
3. Iftikhar is an old man with only hype. He hasn't done anything in entire career. Playing from 8-9 years and still look like a new kid. Absolute zero. No single match winning innings.
4. Shadab is the one who is playing on dosti yari quota from last 2 years. He was good in T20s but now he is poor in this too. (Usama mir is better than him)

1. May be I am wrong or I hardly remember but yet to see a match where Pakistan wins despite Babar and Rizwan both failing to contribute
2. Saim is a flop, save his career or he will be next Haider Ali
3. But guess what, Babar is prolific at 3, Fakhar is a revelation at 4, Babar can move up to open with Rizwan, but keep Fakhar at 4
4. That leaves No.3 spot open, try Saim there or play Usman at his natural number there, after he has jeopardized his career to play for Pakistan
5. Azam's two cameos against Ireland (where match was already in Pak pocket) shouldn't give you false hopes, he was yet to be tested to make and then finish the match, he got his chance today and failed, again as usual
6. But there is also not like to like replacement for Azam's power hitting at that number, so for now we have to bear with him, and also keep him as a keeper which is bomb in waiting and may cost us crucial match in Wold Cup
7. So from Azam to Imad and Iftikhar and Shadab all are capable of short burst cameos but cannot make a match or construct an innings thats why Babar and Rizwan are needed to provide stability at the top, both of them themselves can shift to high gears latter in the innings
8. So as per me, Babar n Rizwan to open with Saim or Usman at 3 Fakhar at 4 with rest to follow
Besides the issues with Shadab's bowling form, Babar is missing the trick by bowling Rauf in powerplay. He is not suited for powerplay bowling. If he comes in later in the innings, like Umar Gul used to do back in the day, his defensive bowling skills will be very useful. Plus, it will force Shaheen to finish his overs early therefore saving him from late overs onslaught

Saim continously fail after getting most chances to play in history even against C teams bowlings. He only have one shot not ready for international level. Team management doesn't have any positive and constructive plans. Coaches have miserably failed to iron out technical flaws in bowlers and batters. Bowlers are lacking discipline. Prob is classic players like Babbar Azam, Rizwan, virat kohli, kl rahul, kane williamson, steve smith make lot of personal runs but just at the wrong strike rate for their team. Bcoz they come openers or 1 down they waste too many balls at start and that put extra pressure on others. There is no need of sheet anchors in modern day t20's. Infact more time these type of players stay on crease, it's better for opposite teams.
Don't include Vitat and KL in player like Babar and Rizwan.Their SR in T-20I is 138+
@madhukarbhusare8057 virat and especially kl rahul well fall within that category. Infact kl rahul should be the undisputed heir of tuk tuk mishab ul haq's tuk tuk crown. His strike rate us inflated with some fast innings against minow opponents. In last few years he has played some legendary innings "FOR" OPPOSITE teams.
