It's a lovely old town! I noticed several references to the traffic, the by-pass is now 36 years old and the traffic is no better in the town. Ever considered the noise, dirt and smells when we used horses? All those iron bonded wheels and hooves on cobbles....I think it would have been even worse!
Been here for 45 years. I live at the bottom of that hill where they are sat.
