@@Frgres-zka32 Nah dude. This game has been out a year and a half. Even a "basic" day 1 Dolphin who only gets monthly and BP will have spent just over £200 or about $250. A "regular" Dolphin additionally probably buys each shop item one time per annual bonus reset which is about £170 or about $215. Since this has reset once already at the anniversary, it means it is totally normal for a day 1 Dolphin to have spent up to £550 or about $700. $1000 is definitively a fat dolphin, but hardly whaling, in this context. Even if you make the argument that "Light Spender" only refers to a minimal Dolphin that label easily fits $250-$300 accounts (obviously not this account in the video though). For context, just E6S1 for one character, you would be considered very lucky to get that for $1,000 (the entire amount even a fat Dolphin has spent) which puts into perspective average "Whale" accounts which have E2S1 on plenty of characters and or a few E6 characters. Its really just the Gacha game model at work. They want you to sink in time so you are invested long term, and they make resources a distraction players would rather not face. You can then get rid of some of those problems by paying what is in effect a modest subscription (as the game is free). $15 dollars a month doesn't sound like much (and its even split into $5 and 10$ to make it seem less) especially since you already know you like the game content. But because you keep playing it for much much longer in terms of timespan, it becomes a large number fast. Ultimately, what matters is when you look back at the year and see you have spent say $300 that you think it has made a big impact on your account and that you have enjoyed your time with the game. You can't really treat this type of game like a normal non-live service game, where spending $50 dollars for in-game purchases already DOES feel high, because those sorts of games are only played for short spurts and then forgotten about, they aren't the near daily experience that this genre tries to sell itself as and has a different value proposition.
@@rowanmales3430 from a fair standpoint, $15 a month is already a lot. Many games even with higher quality can be bought at $60-90 with all DLC's, and hsr makes you spend this amount in just a few months. But this is how BP systems work, the point is that you have to login everyday, so they can advertise it to their partners. CCP's policy however did affect slightly to they changed BP system only, but monthly pass and daily rewards are the same. It shows how company is greedy and thick skinned, not to mention their gacha system itself is a highway robbery, but everyone copes
In what world this kind of investment is light spender🤦🏻 as a light spender myself getting a single copy + signsture LC is costing so much not to mention you lose the 50:50 and going thru hard pity lmao
Mrpokke out here zero cycling war

im sorry but i refuse to believe this account is labeled as 'lightspender'...
Yeah he has 10 signature lc and multiple premium eidolons, i would classify such a case as a fairly fat dolphin
This is what I'm saying but apparently on comments from other acc reviews 1K+ is considered "light spending" these days...
@@fjmoneybagz1k… I thought I was a dolphin with 30 dollars
