And hello everyone 🎉
thanks for watching dee
I wish I could fix up that house and live in it. The fireplaces are delightful.
it was quite quaint wasn't it
That big bar is a giant key !!!!!
thanks for the info
At about 11.40 in that is the key 4 the BFG,S house !!!!!may b a reward 😂 love channel so interesting
E spanner is for opening an oil drum....
11:20 - Don't know their proper name, but given the location I'm fairly certain it's a beam/plate grabber that one of the ironworkers building the bridge dropped,
thanks for the info
Hallo met erik uit Utrecht juli zijn top gr erik xxx 👍❤💋🇳🇱💋❤👍
Oops either the house is how it should have read.
The E spanner is a turning bar for rolling steel beams I've used them alot in my work as a steel fabricator and they come in all shapes an sizes
They also work well as an attitude adjustment tool!
@@michaelsisenstein1372 Especially for disagreeable Builders😂
thanks for the info
i wounder how meny tons of metal you have puld out sins you started magnet fishing
many tons
Great fun every time.
always. thanks for watching
Loved the video Nigel. What a nice surprise you doing an Urbex 😜💪 I like them when they don’t go on for too long.
I’d love a place like that to do up myself
Hello Nigel!
❤😊
You learn something every day e spanner for fabrication well done
Just proves you never know what lurks beneath in that watery " Lucky Dip?".
very true
Eoers house should be fixed up and rented to someone, or maybe the canal and river trust could open it as a museum so people could see how the lock keepers lived, when the canals carried freight.
👍✌️😎
Waiting
The lock keeper's house is in quite the state for having been in use recently enough to have a satellite dish on the roof. Odd.
The e wrench looks a lot like a hand valve wrench used on large gate valves etc.
Thanks for another outstanding video guys
thanks for watching
Good job Aaron looking that gearbox up on google!
The file with the flattened end was a farriers file. They sometimes flattened the end to use on a hoof. I think I remember it was to seal a crack or hoof wound. (Been 60 years ago, so my memory may be wrong.) 22:18- The one I have is used for bending metal from a blacksmiths shop.
thanks for the info
I've just watched #339. (Yes I am late I love to do marathon watches)
I know you don't like blocking roads and such but these things are better out of the water than in. It's part of the history of your country. Most of the OED lads who come to collect those devices will never see one in person if you and your fellow magneteers didn't find them. So consider this as educational for them.
that is very true about it being educational for those who have never seen them
Great video, I enjoyed the tour of the house. I think the handle with the small hook was used to take off lids off pots or off circles around burners on a fire burning stove. I think, I didn't get a really good look. Great time an I loved all the laughter. Love from a fan from USA 🇺🇸 ❤️
thanks very much and thanks for the support
Never stops, the amount of stuff you pull up s amazing , thanks for sharing . Till next time Stuuart in Canada ..
thanks for watching
WHY DONT YOU FACE THE CAMERA AT YOU GUYS SO WE CAN WATCH YOU DO THE THROWING? I ENJOY WATCHING YOU THROW THE MAGNETS MORE THAN WHAT YOU FIND. YOU HAVD A HEAD MOUNTED CAMERA WHY DO YOU WALK IVER TO THE OTHER CAMERA TO SHOW IT AGAIN? JUST ASKING NOT COMPLAINING.
now that is an interesting comment. will try to do a few of them in future. thank you.
House looked bigger on the outside. Really old. Thanks for the tour.
it was deceiving to be honest
You're either going to find bycycle, motor bike or a car soon between you all 🤣🤣
there is never a dull moment
Loved the old house! Cold storage right next to the furnace?
Yes it was!
❤
Thanks guys
Bi

Good evening everyone
At least the windlass went to good home
will always give back to the boaters if we see them
why do people do stupid things throwing winders in the drink means canal people have to pay more for liscences at leastthat,s how things work in aust but the fisheries will be happy more lewers get lost the more you buy ha ha but you have a lot of history in those canals like the house you looked through can you imagine what happened in the years gone by very interesting the things that were carted on the canals👍🦘terry
it's surprising what comes out of the rivers and canals
