Being vulnerable, being appreciative, and quite honestly just being yourself is difficult. We all struggle with so much and so many different things and you’re not taught how to express emotions and deal with things. I’ve watched Alex and Aaron for years, but they’re both way older and although they’ve both grown over the years I’ve watched them, that growth was never relatable to me. Andrew, yes, your content is relatable and yes im always excited for another post, but the reason im drawn to this channel is because your GROWTH is relatable. Im going to college next year, my personality is similar, and I’ve never really fit in at school or work and quite honestly my family. Being myself was hard and pretending was exhausting. For a long time I didn’t have much hope and was living “comfortably numb” as I call it. Specifically this last summer of yours, inspired and motivated me to try and leave this “numb” state. I’ve been a viewer & fan of Andrew for quite some time now. He truly is a genuine & authentic human being; who may be afraid of talking to complete strangers (completely understandable aha), but isn’t afraid to be uniquely himself. Andrew, my man, I’d like to tell you that I see myself in you. I’m 23 years old.. slightly older than you, but I think we are actually similar in more than a few ways. We’re both Filipino, born in December (couple days apart), aren’t afraid to be ourselves, etc. Most importantly, we share a similar experience of having a gap year(s). So to answer your question, you made me cry man. More like baaaaaawl lol 😭 Tears of empathy came from Alex’s & Veronica’s speech to you, but tears of relatability came directly from the start of your speech. The moment you started mentioning “…. for the gap year … ive been… “ and was hit with the recollection of what transpired during that time period, I was also hit with that same feeling & realization. Unfortunately, I am currently still going through my gap years… however, I can vividly recall how that first year was filled so much sad thoughts. Needless to say, the experience is not something I’d wish on anyone. …. wish is why I am beyond proud and grateful to see Andrew come out of it in a state of radiating growth. And I am extremely glad to see how strong and firm a support system you have there man! Congratulations, Andrew & the Burris family! Idc what people say this made me cry😭 I used to watched wassabi productions and saw you as a child to watching Alex by himself and seeing you grow up! I always felt I connected to you better because you’ve felt and dealt with similar situations regarding social anxiety or anxiety in general. To seeing you grow in the 2 years you were in cali (I think Veronica said 2 years 😭I don’t remember I was crying) and I’ve felt we’ve had similar paths to breaking out of that shell just minus the obvious UA-cam part lol😂. Andrew's speech really moved me. After I graduated high school I went through a really tough time mentally and had no motivation whatsoever and I also took a gap year during that time. During that gap year I stayed with my cousins in LA and hung around their social circle, which in turn got me some much needed new (and non toxic) friends. When he said his family saved his life I believe it wholeheartedly because my family saved mine

I just graduated college and trust I moved pretty far from my family too. I’ve been a viewer & fan of Andrew for quite some time now. He truly is a genuine & authentic human being; who may be afraid of talking to complete strangers (completely understandable aha), but isn’t afraid to be uniquely himself.
Andrew, my man, I’d like to tell you that I see myself in you. I’m 23 years old.. slightly older than you, but I think we are actually similar in more than a few ways. We’re both Filipino, born in December (couple days apart), aren’t afraid to be ourselves, etc. Most importantly, we share a similar experience of having a gap year(s).
So to answer your question, you made me cry man. More like baaaaaawl lol 😭 Tears of empathy came from Alex’s & Veronica’s speech to you, but tears of relatability came directly from the start of your speech. The moment you started mentioning “…. for the gap year … ive been… “ and was hit with the recollection of what transpired during that time period, I was also hit with that same feeling & realization.
Unfortunately, I am currently still going through my gap years… however, I can vividly recall how that first year was filled so much sad thoughts. Needless to say, the experience is not something I’d wish on anyone.
…. wish is why I am beyond proud and grateful to see Andrew come out of it in a state of radiating growth. And I am extremely glad to see how strong and firm a support system you have there man! Congratulations, Andrew & the Burris family! Can’t wait to witness you journey through this new chapter in life! Andrew, I just want you to know that there is always a light through the dark times. We all go through this long, winding and bumpy road and hopefully come out on the other side with knowledge gained and beautiful memories. Idc what people say this made me cry😭 I used to watched wassabi productions and saw you as a child to watching Alex by himself and seeing you grow up! I always felt I connected to you better because you’ve felt and dealt with similar situations regarding social anxiety or anxiety in general. To seeing you grow in the 2 years you were in cali (I think Veronica said 2 years 😭I don’t remember I was crying) and I’ve felt we’ve had similar paths to breaking out of that shell just minus the obvious UA-cam part lol😂. I’m excited to see the next chapter and see the college part of your life and I’m always going to be 100% a fan of Andrew.

I think this is one of the most important videos you have posted tbh. I feel like ive just watched the ending (or shall i say new beginning 😉) to such a beautiful series. Throughout the funny videos i think we have all seen you bloom amd blossom into a wonderful young man, Nour is a lucky lady. Im the same age as you and struggle too, its wholesome and takes guts to admit it to so many people. This video shows everyone that you don't have to have your crap together all the time, but if you surround yourself with people who love you and lift you up, you can get yourself through the hard days. Andrew's speech really moved me. After I graduated high school I went through a really tough time mentally and had no motivation whatsoever and I also took a gap year during that time. During that gap year I stayed with my cousins in LA and hung around their social circle, which in turn got me some much needed new (and non toxic) friends. When he said his family saved his life I believe it wholeheartedly because my family saved mine

Andrew the way that your videos make me feel alittle light in a life I feel is on a mission to take me out is just powerful. You never cease to make me cry laughing but today you made me ball. The little notes you put in your videos asking how we are and reminding us to drink water really does make me feel like I gotta far away friend. I just graduated college and trust I moved pretty far from my family too. It was terrifying at first I was lost and lonely but hey ended up with crazy memories, friends that’ll be here for a life time and a degree I guessss 😂 but Andrew you go out there and you change lives the way you change ours we love you bro.
