When the disciples asked Jesus why they couldn't cast out the spirit, Jesus replied this kind does come out expect through prayer. Whose prayer wasn't made prior to the miracle you may ask. When someone has stolen your property, you do not ask for it to be returned to you. Through following the expansions of the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself, one gains the ability to fulfill the commandment to love what he cannot see, i.e. our Creator.
GOD THE FATHER SPEAKS THROUGH JESUS, HIS SON: Jesus is not God. There is only ONE God, and that is the Father (1 Corinthians 8:6). Those who say Jesus is God do not know the Father, and we must know both in order to reach the kingdom (John 17:3). Everything Jesus spoke came from God first, and those who do not accept the things Jesus speaks are also denying the words of God the Father through Christ: “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath *one that judgeth him:* the word that I have spoken, the same shall *judge him in the last day.”* God will judge us through Christ, just as he does all things through Christ. Jesus was sent by God the Father for our salvation. We must believe on the one who sent Jesus, and become one with the Father even as Jesus is one with the Father. And the only way to do that is to listen to the words of God spoken to us BY his Son, Jesus Christ (Heb 1:2). Only those who believe on the one who SENT Jesus will enter the kingdom of God (John 5:24).
