As far as I know Nat King Cole was one of the first black artists who had his own TV show. At that time that tells it all. His smooth velvet voice is unique. I love Nat King Cole!
Yes, 67 year old Aurora fan and I have never heard the original "Nature Boy" by Nat King Cole before. This was great to see and hear, and the quality was so good considering when it was made. I'm going to listen to more of his songs. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this song by Nat. I don't think I've heard any music from his early career, but that voice I've always loved, good one Ashlena, cheers.
it just shows again how respectful Aurora's cover versions are. She has her own style but uses it without exaggerating or changing too much of the original songs. his version is still incredible and I remember my parents having that record as old thick vinyl. You are of a different generation and are perhaps more familiar with the popular oldies, but this is perhaps a small reminder that you can also create a reaction to old music.
Such a beautiful song with a wonderful message, your face as you were first listening was a beautiful picture too...this 57 yr old discovered this original track this week too..the world is now a brighter place♥️🙏

The first time I heard this song I had to keep hearing it over, such a flawless vocal performance and piano playing. He was and will forever be the G.O.A.T. 🐐🐐🐐🐐 RIP Nat King Cole 🙏🌹
I am pleased to see people finding these absolute gems from the past. I am 60 this month and we grew up with my grandparents music WW1 and very early bluegrass and country, my parents music, Big Band Era and the 1950s/1960s crooners...including Nat King Cole and then our babysitting cousins rock and roll of the 50s- 60s... My siblings and I got a musical history lesson. Your reaction and discussion is great! 👍💪✌️🙏
Enjoy your reactions to music - always intetesting. Love Nat King Cole. A last passed done throigh my family generations. I often think I would like to hear him sing with modern arrangements. Nat King Cole singing When I Fall In Love is on my playlist (along with Nothing But Thieves) I love him singing that song.
That was cute. I saw it the first time too. But how much did Auroras MAGIC add to the song!!!!! In the beginning I thought this song was done by Aurora, cause it matches so perfectly with her magical fairylike personality...
So beautiful. Both Aurora and Nat King Cole's versions. This is not written by NKC however, although it is often called his song. Eden Ahbez wrote this in 1947ish.
Nat King Cole owns "Nature Boy" (especially the B&W, Trio version) like Whitney owns "I Will Always Love You". The message is timeless... the greatest thing, you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return.
HI! I'm a new subscriber 😅 if you see a person is watching literally all of your videos that's me!! I think you could probably enjoy Weyes Blood, would you be down to give a listen reaction to "Something To Believe" by Weyes Blood? Thank you ❤
He owns this song, and for generations to lose that is heartbreaking. Oscar Moore, great jazz guitarist as well. You should do an occasional GENIUS more often. So glad you did this, even though your numbers will be low. Django Reinhardt, maybe. No excuse, l was born in the 50's and l know singers back to Ragtime, I'm joking, most of my kids don't care. Lol. Adios cuz. By the way, I'm guessing the Miles Vinyl is " Kinda Blue".
Knowing Aurora and her covers, one should always listen to the original I think, to compare... Aurora... covers... well, to close a loop, so to speak, David Bowie did a cover of this song(3'22"), check it out privately if you wish: Nature Boy - David Bowie: ua-cam.com/video/ODnjutzHmEk/v-deo.html Always a pleasure to listen to the original, thanks for the reaction.🙂👍

It definitely is!
👍Nat King Cole had an amazing and soothing voice. 🖖❤
His soothing pitch perfect voice has never had a male paralell ❤
He was a fabulous piano player and had such a smooth vocal style.

P.S. I think Auroras Nidarosdomen performance of this song is the best ever done.
Yup I said that in the video :)
Agreed
