I traveled to Port STJohns back in 1980’s. 😊. One of my favorite places outside Durban.. the scenic views is amazing except when it rains .. the hillside terrains can be dangerous to travel on .. Overall a great place to visit for a holiday Thanks for bringing back great memories ❤
@keegsreellife no pun intended just joking bro wanted to add sum spice to ur first psj trip...can see u really enjoying and appreciating it yet the real fish didnt show up yet...I watched few other utubers ..I wish if they reading this and can give url sum headsup on neighboring top spots..Oh I forgot those gillys also advise on bait tides river surf and hotspots ..shot Keegs ...have a top enjoyable safe one maybrus🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
Please answer these questions; 1. how long was the drive (including rest stops) 2. Would I need a 4x4 to go there for a trip ? 3. What is something you wish you had on you (equipment for fishing or cooking) but did not have?
1.The drive from Durban was 6 hours including two 15mins rest stops. 2.You can go to Port St Johns with your car...only if you going to Poenskop then you need a 4x4...(you will see that in Part 2) 3.We had everything but take live bait if you can...and the cracker from Durban...
Very interesting Potjie recipe, keen to try. How did the meat get its flavour / spice though? Noted he only added salt and pepper with cake flour and cubes. Was that sufficient for the meat?
@@keegsreellife took me over 10 years to figure out bro. Once you get it, you'll actually laugh at yourself cos its so simple, I assure you. It happened by mistake in my back yard actually
@@keegsreellifeI carried it from Durban in 500ml coke bottle with water. keep in the fridge or cooler to stay fresh for days. contact me next time I will hook you up. trust me no better bait for the river.
