I am useing a tv crank should there be' 2 spacers in the mag houseing a thin one after the small oil seal and a thick one after the bearing then the oil seal.
Theres a problem, you buy new and spend more than it is worth, in my case it's just that I have built a few engines and it's the one item you save money or reuse is guaranteed to let you down, I'm using as good as there is as well as good secondhand parts. No goo spending 2k with it worth 1k is it?
oi' I was under the impression that you put the spring towards the grease? but your inner most seal was not facing the grease inside of the mag? please advise, thx

Like you..I use new stuff...so many use the old bolts etc...I just don't understand...

Hi ,you are sealing against the fuel not the grease which is under no pressure same as gearbox oil, crankshaft has shoulders for this, good luck
