This was actually the project that made me finally learn how to knit and the end result was much too small and I ended up doing a plain crocheted back panel and ultimately it just wasn't what I wanted and I've been meaning to remake it from scratch with better materials and planning. This video has inspired me to finally buy the yarn for the new attempt and I'm very excited because it's autumn in Australia and I'm going to get so much wear out of this vest once I've made the new version!!
Also yours is absolutely stunning and looks very very cute with that whole outfit.

Your Agnes Sweater Vest turned out beautiful! I love it in that cotton and I've been meaning to try one in cotton myself :) Thank you for sharing your process and how you made it work for you!

Thank you so much ❤️ I loved the colour combinations so much I had to try it out. Definitely would have a different feel made from wool and might have to make one for winter

Thanks for commenting❤️ I highly recommend if you’ve got the patience especially chipping away at all the granny squares then quickly sewing it up was very rewarding

I just checked the pattern and what I had left and I used less than one skein of each colour and maybe 1 and a half for the white when I made the bottom band and the arm and neck ribbing
