Lobster looks very healthy. Greyhounds are suppose to show a little rib and a little hips. They're suppose to be a muscular and fit breed. Bunny is actually a bit overweight for a greyhound.

For example: my Border Collie mix needs to be about 6 pounds above her ideal weight because she has so many digestive issues that she will drop those 6 pounds and then some during a flare up.

They're fostering lobster and also fostered another greyhound named Jamie. Bunny is obviously there to stay. They're volunteering with Grey Save, the foundation that Bunny came from. :) Hopefully we'll see lots more foster greyhounds from Julien. They're such wonderful dogs.

I work in a veterinary hospital and we work with a greyhound rescue to, they are literally gentle giants! I absolutely love them and love what you and Jenna do for these sweet babies. ❤️
I hate people that don't allow their pets on the couch...why do you even have a pet? They should be considered family. I wonder if those kinds of people don't allow their kids on the couch too...
@@autumwho My parents have a "no dogs on the couch" rule that I got around when I still had my rottie. Trained her to only be allowed on a couch with a blanket barrier on it so she could be on all the couches, but people could still have their boundaries by leaving the couch bare
You know Julen, all the worry and struggle you went through with Bunny is now benefiting not only her and the littles but all of these greyhounds you’re fostering: Jamie, Lobster and many more to come no doubt. You both really made an investment in your future there even though you didn’t realise it would turn into this at the time. What a wonderful way to make that time and the difficult emotions you both went through pay off over and over and over again and bring good into the world. It’s like you unlocked some magical love multiplier by just being really decent people and good dog parents to Bunny. I know Bunny is more than worth all that effort all on her own, but I’m so happy you’re doing this and making so many dogs happy and safe as they transition into lives as pets. Such a meaningful way to bring happiness into the world xxxx
Everytime I see Julien, i just become happy. The way he is with the doggos, they way he talks about Jenna, the way he gets excited about his plants, it is just wholesome. She looks so happy! Also, it seems so great that you guys adopted bunny, who struggled a bit in the beginning, first and then are fostering greyhound’s who end up being a little more confident. It’s like bunny prepared you for a lot so any struggles the fosters have are easy breezy.

Julian: this is lobster All of us: We've only seen lobster for three seconds but if anything happened to her we'd kill everyone else and then ourselves
First, all Greyhounds are fast. The differences are a matter of milliseconds like all athletes. They usually leave the track due to not really wanting to run, not because they aren't fast enough. They are not forced to run. At two she probably only ran a handful of races. Why keep racing her if her heart isn't in it? Either they have the "hunt" drive and competitiveness with the other dogs or they just don't. And thank god the NGA worked out a relationship with Greyhound adoption shelters so these sweet dogs who just wanted to chill can have homes. There were darker times back when everything was darker for pets in general, really, but today most are adopted. :)

She looks so happy! Also, it seems so great that you guys adopted bunny, who struggled a bit in the beginning, first and then are fostering greyhound’s who end up being a little more confident. It’s like bunny prepared you for a lot so any struggles the fosters have are easy breezy.

I knew someone who’s teacup lived to be almost 20. They usually live a lot longer that larger breeds from what I’ve noticed

They didn't deserve Lobster. They certainly were NOT her lobster.

First, all Greyhounds are fast. The differences are a matter of milliseconds like all athletes. They usually leave the track due to not really wanting to run, not because they aren't fast enough. They are not forced to run. At two she probably only ran a handful of races. Why keep racing her if her heart isn't in it? Either they have the "hunt" drive and competitiveness with the other dogs or they just don't. And thank god the NGA worked out a relationship with Greyhound adoption shelters so these sweet dogs who just wanted to chill can have homes. There were darker times back when everything was darker for pets in general, really, but today most are adopted. :)
She wasn't thrown away. She's being cared for and loved and adopted out to a forever home. What do you want them to to do? Force her to run?
