If you have some time, i think you should visit Croydon. Some amazing views, probably top three in the UK
Your footage is 1st class. Very cinematic.
I had the same problem with my scrambler. I went through 3 bags but now I use a domestic fire blanket folded into four and draped over my seat and exhaust. It works quite well and is cheap to replace when it gets worn.Great video, l love the Elan valley area .
Yeah the high exhaust is def not ideal for luggage (tbf usually its fine if I strap it to the seat properly but that morning i was literally doing it in pitch black so couldnt see a thing). The fire blanket is a great shout! Im about to do a tour of Europe so will def look into that, thank you mate
Elan valley/ Cwmystwyth mines was my childhood playground, you even caught my old house in the drone footage. It's ace seeing you seeing it at its best! I'm so glad the weather was good for you XD
What a mini series. Subscribed!
Production quality and tunes… You are the UK’s answer to ‘Full Throttle Hog’
Also, I think the speed limit on black mountain pass is good. Hazards (sheep and drops), and so many reasons (views) to take in.
Thank you bro, really appreciate it mate. And you're definitely right its almost certainly a good thing for everyone's safety but there are a few stretches where its fairly straight and it would be nicer to go a bit quicker haha 😅
Also thanks so much for the recommendation, I'd actually never seen his channel before but just checked it out and his content looks awesome, def a similar style to what I'm going for 👊
Wow, I really want to ride out there myself now! 😍
Thanks bro, you might want to raise the suspension on your Merc if you do though as some of the roads have quite a few bumps on them 😁
Woww those landscapes views in Wales are just out of this world, those bends are superb!
You're doing a great job on these videos, keep'em coming mate!
Ride safe, cheers from Portugal
Thanks bro, and yh loads more on the way and hopefully one day will be able to film a series in Portugal too 💪😎
I live in the cantre of all these places, i am very lucky to have all these roads on my doorstep
Mate, you are very lucky! Honestly pretty much 90% of the roads around here, even the ones which are just connecting all the small towns were incredible to ride along, very jealous!
You had a bit of lion?
Wow, Wales really is packed with nature.
Great vlog mate with some stunning videography. Live in South Wales so these roads are on my doorstep. Was up in the Elan Valley a fortnight ago, hiking not riding this time. The roads through Wales are superb for biking, even in the worst of weather. Watching the light change as you wind through the hills does not get boring. Have to say though, the sheep aren't brave so much as monumentally stupid!😂 Subscribed. Keep the great content coming.
That sheep comment made me laugh 🤣Thank you and agreed the roads are truly incredible not only in the most scenic spots but pretty much everywhere around the south of Wales (maybe with the exception of in the actual towns but thats obv to be expected) I had so much fun riding around can't wait to come back and explore more of Wales, it really is a gem.
Good vid mate, calimoto has done me wrong a lot of times on little tours. Can get more than a little infuriating
Cool video, super nice ride! Cheers from this brazillian rider. Keep on riding.
A nice put together video mate and a great bunch of guys. Subscribed 👍
These videos are great! The area is so beautiful. Your comment about the large areas of isolation you can find in the USA is spot on. If you EVER want to come to Utah in the USA, I’ll take you on a tour. You’ll not see more varied landscapes anywhere in the world! I’d love to come ride where you are. It’s a dream trip of mine. And on that Scrambler no less!
Question… those roads look so narrow. Are they all one-way roads?
Thank you bro, Utah is definitely on my list of places to visit I think it would be incredible to ride there, hopefully will be able to go over to the states some time soon. And no the roads have two way traffic so you have to be super careful 😅
I cannot believe you haven’t been to mid Wales before now. Lived in Birmingham in my teens I was riding in wales every other weekend on my motorcycle with little traffic or limits. I’m amazed you have discovered they mined in Wales 🤔😳. The history of the reservoirs is very interesting too, although controversial.
I know me too, such a shame that it took me this long but making up for it now 💪 Also on the history part that sounds really interesting will definitely read into it 👊
Great video! Loads of great trails we use around there! Nice content just subbed! 👌🏴
Thank you mate and yeah so many good roads around Wales, as I mentioned on one of the other comments i didn't use 90% of the footage that I filmed (I had over 9 hours of POV footage haha) and pretty much most of the roads were amazing to ride on.
@@dream_o2w your welcome mate love the colours of your filming, what camera do you use / setting to achieve the dark look??
@@ALL_4_WHEELS So the majority of it is the colour grading in the edit using DaVinci resolve. But my DJI Osmo settings are 30fps with a manual shutter speed of 1/60 and shooting in D-log (I also use ND filters). If its helpful I can make a video of my filming set up and go into more detail there?
I just did my first mini tour of Wales less than a month ago over the bank holiday weekend and did some of these roads. I too live is London so it blew me away. Will be back to do them again and many more soon
Nice mate, you might have actually been there around the same time as us then. Agreed its an amazing place to ride and so much better than our congested 20mph traffic 😅
I live in Swansea and ride these road regularly along with many others you should add to your list . ( Devils Staircase mentioned is epic ) Bwlch & Rhigos mountain also are like having the alps at home
That was v enjoyable to watch, will deffo have to add this to my list of places to ride!
Your videos are great, really enjoying them! Just a thought, you don't need the constant music, just save it for accepts and atmosphere :-)
Thanks so much, really appreciate the feedback and will def ber that in mind for future videos 🙏
@@dream_o2w Thanks for being gentle, you never asked for my advice! 😆😆😆but I have worked a lot in film and TV, so in the genral talking bits it will sound better without the music unless it's dramatic or emotional. But hey bro, it's your channel and the work is great, I've subbed!
Great video.
Not sure how long your in wales for, but you may want to head back down to Pendine over the weekend, there is a hot rod weekend down at the beach, fantastic day out for you guys
Ah unfortunately I'm already back in London I filmed this last month, the hot rod event would have definitely been cool to see. But will definitely have to come back up some time soon 💯
@dream_o2w I'll keep an eye out on your channel when your coming back and will try and meet you guys for a coffee at another great bikers cafe called the owls nest. Ride safe 🤘
Where exactly was the quarry you rode around?
Shhhhweeettt! 😊😊😊 subbed ❤
I enjoy your videos and would like to subscribe and support your new venture, but the constant background music is so distracting. Its entertaining as it is, you don`t need the music all the time...
Agree, great video content but the music was a bit loud (still liked it). The yellow filter was a bit much for me, made Wales look like outback Queensland.
@@GiantClock69 and @darrenhall6509 thank you both for your feedback, will work on getting the audio levels a bit better next time its sometimes tricky as on my main speakers it sounds balanced but you're right when listening on my laptop it was a bit loud. These are the first videos I've made so it's a learning process so massively appreciate you guys letting me know.
Also in terms of the colours it was more a stylistic choice which I get might not be to everyone's liking and maybe you're on to something as I secretly do want to visit the Outback in Australia haha.
Either way thank you both for watching and hope you still enjoyed the videos despite these issues 👊
@@dream_o2wsound mixing is the bane. It’s really nice work man, doing the vlog you have to wear so many hats, lots of choices to make… really enjoying.
Is it the 1200cc Scrambler you have..? I Love the kinda dark'ish video footage, very impressive...!

Scotland
Thanks Peter, really appreciate it! Yes its a Triumph Scrambler 1200XC its such an amazing bike to ride. Do you ride as well? Also I'm thinking of doing a video in Scotland in the near future, any places that you'd recommend?
Yes, I've been riding (and still really into it) for 46yrs, I own/ride a 2008 DL1000 V-Strom along with a 2007 Honda SilverWing 600cc maxi-scooter.....both fabulous machinery.
I'd recommend you try ride the NC500 route, either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation wise, but head for the Isle Of Skye, you could easily spend a full day there easily, so beautiful, on Skye aim for Neist Point etc.... Or generally try stick to the upper West coastline, just utterly sublime....!!!!!!
Places like; Shieldaig - Kylesku Bridge - Invergarry - Applecross (Bealach na Ba) - Gairloch - Salen - Sanna Beach - Ullapool - Portree on Skye - Plockton - are all totally wonderful/spectacular venues to ride to on two wheels...!!

@@user-zx7lp2bh6n Thats awesome and those are really fun bikes to own! Tank you so much for the info as well, its really useful to know as a rough guide/starting point to planning out the route. Also how bad is the midge situation in summer as tbh I was initially thinking of going in a couple of weeks but have seen a lot of posts saying that its quite bad especially as most likely I'd be camping for the majority of the trip.
Please don't ride on the Cwmystwyth Mines spoil tips. It clearly Says on the small signs special area of conservation and to keep off.
Remember when E5 was the shit petrol? It's bizarre that we use farmland to make ethanol to reduce the MPG of petrol and to reduce the life off of a motorbike.... Very environmentally friendly.
Done both these roads on my Hyper.. prefer Elan Valley route into Wales
Bro its such an underrated route, everyone mentions going to Gospel Pass and Black Mountain Pass but I actually think Elan Valley was one of my favourites especially for the riding itself. Also thank you bro for watching the mini series, really appreciate it 👊
The ''owls nest'' would have been a good biker stop for you it wasnt far off the route you took in Llandovey. Great video btw 😊
Thanks will add this to my list next time, tbh we were trying to cram so much in over such a short period that we missed prob missed a bunch of things but that just means we have to go back 😎
I mean.. the views are awesome... but what happened to natural colors of nature mate?
you know not much is happening on a ride (let alone a video about a ride) when the rider gets to a puddle that viewers saw a long time ago, and exclaims "Oohh. Puddle." I'm watching and thinking "they're in the middle of that gorgeous landscape, and they're Stuck on roads lined with trees and shrubs and walls?? I sure hope someone's out riding in those fields and hills.
This looks like a mega journey, do you have a GPX file to share please?
u think wales is good tell u not been to scotland lol wales nothing to scotland. glencoe and nc500 scotland is biker hevan wales to much traffic
You're right I haven't been but its on the list and will be doing the NC500 this year 💪
@@dream_o2w only do west cost. east just like north of england. u have time see orkeny as well. it amzing place it flat. but history and people r amzing.
I’ve just done the NC on my old 1100GS BMW , rode up from south east Kent , I was absolutely blown away everyday by the roads and scenery , the Scot’s were very friendly too .
Black Mountain pass has been spoilt by boy racers and f1 wannabes in their Bmw's! The road is famous because of top gear. The place you stopped at is the hairpin they always drifted around. Most weekends you'll find some bellend in a rear wheel drive car facing the wrong way as they run out of skill!😂. Cameras went up to stop them speeding, but they just all congregate above or below the hairpin!
I live in Brecon, I am lucky enough to ride all of these incredible roads, you are literally in my back yard, if I have more time I head further North into Snowdonia, also epic. I worked in London one week a month with a firm a while ago….. definitely not for me wouldn’t live there after here for all the tea in China. Glad you enjoyed guys, great filming 👌
Honestly I don't blame you, you very lucky mate. I've only been to Snowdonia to hike before and its also really beautiful you should def check it out, I'm also planning to go there soon on my motorbike as well.
Live just outside Neath, having lived previously in Bristol. The Beacons half an hour in one direction, the Gower half an hour the other and great biking roads everywhere on the doorstep. Wouldn't change it, it never gets old.....unlike me!! 😂
