I remember watching this with my dad one Christmas. It was on YTV late at night. My dad doesn't show emotion, he hides it, but I can tell this movie got to him. Now, being a parent myself, I understand why.
It's the most sad movie with Bourvil. And it is more sad, because the little boy of this film is Bourvil, in the reality.
I'm sad this isn't the full movie - but thank you for sharing even this little bit. I saw it as a child in Black and white on our old telly, and it has been in my mind ever since. Greetings and kind wishes for 2021.

Thanx for uploading this wonderful clip. I saw this movie thrice; when I was a teenager. I was touched with the love; a father has with his child. The title was super imposed at the end on the scene; when the wolves were crying, 'See it again ... with someone you love'!

The young life and innocence of a 10 year old boy destroyed by the madness of radiation and Leukemia.Such a sad movie.I cry everytime near the end.Brook fuller was a sweet and lovely brown haired boy and William holden was a fine and brave father.

Bill Holden gave a superb performance, he was such a versatile actor, this was a beautiful movie.
The Christmas Tree is one of the saddest movies ever made. When the father found his fatally sick boy's lifeless body under the tree, with his beloved loyal pet wolves howling in grief was terribly sad. The boy was still holding a "Good Luck" gift that he made for his father. He evidently was placing it under the tree when he died. The father should continue allowing the boy's pet wolves to stay there as family, and take care of them the rest of their lives. His boy would have wanted that.
Wish I could see the whole movie again. I once saw the movie on VHS but I remember seeing the movie a few times when I was a young boy around pascals age in the movie but I was born in 1964 and I always loved wolves! That line gets me, "I Got To See My Wolves".

For years i've been trying to view this move even questioning why it's never screened in the US other then the showing at Radio City Music Hall in New York in 1969. Wrote many letters to Turner Classic movie channel and Amazon. Nothing. No answer. Never.

The leitmotif of Narciso Yepe’s “Romance” is so poignant and bitter sweet. Gets me every time.
C était un film trop beau et trop triste. Un garçon de 10 ans Pascal a vécu 6 mois les plus merveilleux avec la famille. Et de ceux qui l entourent. Pascal est mort d une Leucémie. Raymond Loyer double William Holden dans le rôle de Laurent Segur et Bourvil double lui lui-même dans le rôle de Verdun.
Mi ricordo di averlo visto a Natale !! Un film che rimarrà x sempre nei miei ricordi !! Una storia molto triste ma un film capolavoro

From what I have seen on UA-cam there is an English and a French version. Strangely it seems that both were made separately of each other and from the snippets I have seen there is no overdubbing.
Currently on UA-cam I think there are only parts of the movie, not the entire movie.
