Dude needs to research where 20% of the federal revenue comes from. California pays far more to the federal government than it receives in benefits - one of only a handful of states for which that is true. Analysis from the Rockefeller Institute of Government shows that, in 2022, California contributed $83 billion more in taxes than it received from the federal government
California pays California taxes. Your local government are the ones who mismanaged the money. I'm sorry for your loss as a city and a state as a whole but your government are the ones to blame, not the nation.
If insurance companies start cancelling multiple policies in your neighborhood, GTFO or at least make some alternate arrangements. They don't do that for no reason.
Anton, Excellent explanation snd confirmation of all Americans paying for the incompetence of California legislators. There should be stipulations in the money they receive! Newsom and Bass jailed!
The reason insurance is a scam those people paid for years then when they need insurance the dumped them, it should be illegal for them to drop you if u haven't had a claim, or raise your premium.
Scam is a word too often thrown around by unintelligent people. Insurance companies deal with risk. The years those people paid insurance if their house burned down they would’ve been 100 percent covered. The reason they were dropped is because the insurance companies reached out to the government to tell them these are things you need to do to mitigate the risk. The government did nothing so the insurance companies said ok it is too risky to do business in these areas. They didn’t drop their policies overnight they non renewed them because of elevated risk. If you have prior knowledge that something is risky and do nothing about it you can’t cry when that risk is realized.
And then premium increases capped. And terrible water management on top of that...bad business. No auto insurance company would stay doing business in a city that's 80% Kias and Hyundais and Kia Boys everywhere lol.
People in CA if you are looking for insurance and the rate seems pretty low, make sure it is or is not a difference in conditions policy. This means that you WILL need to get another policy specifically for fire.
I don't know how I feel about this Cali slander😒. Ain't like complain about where our tax dollars go during those hurricanes and tornadoes, but I guess....

@@jonLE2073 And yet...the real estate value in the South isn't blowing up. Supply and demand.
@ it’s a good thing we love our way of life. My city is peaceful and I can shoot my guns off my back porch cause I own acres of land and didn’t pay nowhere near a million dollars for it.
I hate this for all of them. I saw the devastation my father’s house fire did to him . he sat in his jeep waiting for help watching everything burn. His was an electrical issue. To think all this was intentional tho 😡
Interesting....
This what I’m talking about BIg Dawg! 🔥 🔥
thank you so much for the insight Anton on this complete travesty of a situation smh
I’ve never heard of the fair insurance in Florida. But I’m in Jacksonville further north as well.
Florida residents get insured with Citizens insurance when they can’t get insured elsewhere.
Cali pays the most taxes... Cali literally pays all the red states budgets. Let's be real.
Cali doesn't pay any other states shit. Learn how states get and pass out monies.
@@christopherpaolera4772California is the #5th biggist econemy in the world
@christopherpaolera4772 Look up federal tax per state. I know you're upset that my statement was factual.
Anton,
Excellent explanation snd confirmation of all Americans paying for the incompetence of California legislators. There should be stipulations in the money they receive! Newsom and Bass jailed!
I deal with a lot flights from California Los Angeles and the passengers come off the planes with their nose in the air.. over charged homes etc
Nothing less than 2 Million in the Pacific Palisades Cali...and even that price is hard to find....
Sure you can get less than a mil there. A 2bd/1ba built in 1950 @793 sf for 1.5M 😅
The reason insurance is a scam those people paid for years then when they need insurance the dumped them, it should be illegal for them to drop you if u haven't had a claim, or raise your premium.
You can't force a company to do business in a certain area.
Your governor didn't do forestry management of course insurance canceled
And then premium increases capped. And terrible water management on top of that...bad business. No auto insurance company would stay doing business in a city that's 80% Kias and Hyundais and Kia Boys everywhere lol.

Let the land speculators bail them out.
California full of shit one of the reasons I left is that insurance crap plus very high rent
Louisiana is in this as well for Insurance companies
I been saying this for forty years. BS is BS.
That house cost about $50,000 in the south
That house is 5bd 6bth 3000 sq ft on Zillow...the South is THAT cheap? And if it is...why do you think that is?
Anton is getting handsome like Tom Brady.😂😂
People in CA if you are looking for insurance and the rate seems pretty low, make sure it is or is not a difference in conditions policy. This means that you WILL need to get another policy specifically for fire.
WOW!!
That’s not a million dollar him, it’s a 4 million dollar home. Average price for that area.
Sounds like it's time for them to move out of CALIFORNIA
I don't know how I feel about this Cali slander😒. Ain't like complain about where our tax dollars go during those hurricanes and tornadoes, but I guess....
People outside this state are always gonna hate. CA is to the US as the US is to the world.
Nice background You stepping you game up😭
