I am so sorry. I did not know my brother was so uneducated in UA-cam etiquette as to actually comment "First". I have spoken to him about this and he has sworn to never do it again. I am banishing him to a boarding school far, far away from the influence of douche bags and others who comment "First". This boarding school will teach him proper Internet manners (such as "literally" don't and always deleting your history) and hopefully reform him into a respectable human being. I would once again like to apologize for the disgraceful taste his comment probably left in your collective mouths. He has brought shame on our family name and shall be punished accordingly.
that quote about how comparators work is completely wrong btw it describes an and gate. also redstone blocks had pretty much no uses before slimeblocks were added to the game and after observers got added they arent used super often for flying machines anymore.
Stunning cinematics ✨ and great descriptions for each item! My first world ever was shortly after this update and so hoppers saved us from having to afk collect at iron farms-
1.3.2 is another example of an update that just hugely expanded and improved the game, if you ever needed a video idea i think that would be a great version to make a video on, just like this one!
Redstone Update was such a cool one for me. I had been watching a TON of the Yogscast Tekkit at the time, and had no idea how to use mods. I was absolutely floored by the idea of item transport, TNT carts, and quartz because they all had some equivalent to features of Tekkit. I then hardly ever used them, minus quartz for building.
Redstone update was pretty cool. Had an idea for other videos you may do of this type, seen it done in some Yu-Gi-Oh videos I've watched. Getting other popular MC UA-camrs comments and thoughts on the updates. Imagine getting Mumbo Jumbo to add his thoughts about how this update and the Comparator innovated Redstone! Do what you will! Love the videos!
1.5.1 was the update that I started playing the PC version on!! And because i didn't have good interent as a kid, i would end up playing on 1.5 for at least 2 whole years straight until we moved, had better internet, and i was finally able to update the game on our home computer. What a throwback 😊
Specifically version 1.5.2 was the first version I started playing on Java, I’ll never forget how happy I was to play this game, and you’ve only reminded me again of that same happiness a full decade later 🥲
I found your UA-cam channel after looking at nostalgic Minecraft videos and my god you do some incredible work. Your videos are incredible man. Keep it up bro
1.5 has always been my favorite it's where i completely separate the game before entering a complex game, because once horses came out i see it as the game adding non essentionals that don't add much for sandbox building and are instead too complex for a simple world i prefer to play, if i want to play java version and not beta or alpha i just stick with good ol reliable 1.5.2, it's so good and fun
to elaborate just a bit, i feel like redstone was the perfect send off for classic minecraft in my eyes, people segment it off at different times and updates but i feel like redstone to be the ultimate final gift to playing minecraft in a classic sense before elytras and villager trading and intense farms, which redstone helped with farms but with the simple addition of redstone blocks it made simple builds even easier in a weird way

Wow, how do you not have more subs? This video is very informative and interesting!
tysm💜
I can’t imagine Minecraft today without the 1.5 redstone additions
That's my type of content. Great job, Ryan👍
No way 1.5 was a decade ago. That's scary.
This video style is so pleasing
keep up the good work

You forgot gold and iron pressure plates
Nice vid man realy cool
Hi again Ryan, I started to watch your older videos mainly the lore stuff it’s pretty good, I enjoy so much the feeling of nostalgia
thanks for checking the classics out, I’m so glad you enjoy it :)
underrated channel fr
Thx for your videos! You're definitely one of my favourite English creators
aww I’m glad to hear it! I have some big stuff coming up!!
Great video
The redstone lantern is needed

This was the first version of minecraft I've played besides the demo pocket edition
it seems like a lot of people's first versions were either b1.7.3, 1.2.1, or 1.5! kind of interesting.
And I still wouldn’t touch red stone for another 5 years 😂
I remember one update whre iron fence when shot with an arrow give an restone signal 😂 thst was funny
I wonder what people consider the next big change to red stone since this update all lot has been added since then
I would say observers personally, would be interested in hearing other thoughts too
Pretty cool
Now there's nothing new to add, or not?

thanks so much for the kind words!
For some reason I remember 1.1 only as the update where they removed the top hitbox from ladders. No idea what else they did there

this is such a good analysis. 1.5 was definitely the last update before everything kind of took a huge turn as you mentioned.
1.5.2 also has some of the best modpacks as well, like Hexxit!
First?
