    Absolutely wonderful stuff!!! Thank You for your videos! At the end here when you've taken them to the ground, my concern is to ensure they don't get back up, or if they do, they do it in an injured I don't want any more of this mode. I'd love to see a little on the after they go down technique.

    • @linusverclyte4988
      @linusverclyte4988 5 років тому +3

      Then you counter them and give it all you've got. Chances are on the street you won't find many trained fighters so if you use the surprise effect and pure violence of action they probably won't be able to fight back. Even if they are trained they'll not challenge you to a matchfight (which you should decline anway since it's illegal to fight consensually on the street) and approach you in a fighting stance because that'll give away their intent and allow you to escape. If they approach you with their hands down posturing you have a good chance of KO'ing them before they can defend. Even trained fighters aren't invulnerable: hit them square on the jaw with speed and power and they'll go down just like anybody. If that doesn't work immidiately follow-up because if you give them half a chance they'll make mincemeat out of you. Never underestimate a trained fighter no matter the style.
      Of course this is self-protection not one on one fighting between trained individuals. Which is why I'd think it'd be highly advisable to train combat sports in addition to this. I'm sure Lee'd agree.

      Why do door men need to now how to do all this you wouldn't have a job for long

    • @vucklinbadafok5430
      @vucklinbadafok5430 5 років тому +1

      @@justinprice8216Each doorman makes his own choice and many of them get along without training. My point is everything that Lee Morrison teaches has a basis in the REALITY of effectively applying your skills while experiencing the 'stress' 'confusion' and likely 'fear' that usually accompany such an adrenalized situation. The tactics and principles he teaches are 'pressure tested' in intense, dynamic drills and scenario based training. Of course there's nothing certain in a violent situation, we may lose no matter what we do.
      PROPER TRAINING IN URBAN COMBATIVES WILL GIVE US OUR BEST CHANCE IN EFFECTIVELY DEALING WITH A SITUATION.

    • @BluntInnit

      YOU CLEARLY DO NOT HAVE MUCH STREET EXPERIENCE, MOST FIGHTS START WITH SOMEONE STANDING IN FRONT OF YOU.
      AND YES IF YOU ELBOW SOMEONE 3 TIMES IN 1 SECOND THEY TEND TO SUDDENLY GET SLEEPY.
