The best thing to do is to do the free trial of the course and get the full break down on1. it's in the intermediate partnerwork module. thedancedojo.com -robin
It'll be the same steps, just forget the count and it will work the same. In this video, he preps on 5 6 7 then executes the double spin with the 1 2 3. For on 1, the prep happens on the 1 2 3, then executes 5 6 7.
That's the definition of a double ;) I know what you mean though, because she steps with her foot. Its a very common way to do doubles or multiple turns. You can try and balance on one foot, or "paddle" with the other foot. Both can work. -Robin
@@thedancedojocompare it to the on1 double on your video. This one is two single turns in a series not a double. The one demonstrated with on1 timing is correct. A double is 720° rotation in 2 1/2 beats. A single is 360° rotation in 2 1/2 beats. Thus, two single turns is 720° in 5 beats.
Could you do the same thing on 1 please? I am trying to do the double turn in various situations but i don't seem to do it right :/
