I took a good friend of mine...he was a Muslim friend to their Concert. And it was that day he changed his life,, i remember that night he grabbed my hand and he said to me with tears in his eyes he said "bro i want to follow Jesus"...Now i see.. it was later on that night, he told me why..,it was because he saw and felt the hand of our Lord Jesus come on him...Thank you Hillsongs

I am from Uganda, Africa, Your songs have given us hope when we were hopeless, when we were deep in addiction, your songs made us believe that there's a God who still loves us and can deliver us. When we were discouraged, we found courage in your songs. I remember when I was at University in a foreign muslim country I was so lonely and tired of life, but whenever I played your songs on my laptop. I would go in worship with tears rolling down my face. Your song that I listened to most was 'Depths'. It taught me to stay in God's word and wait even in the midst of confusion. We are all the body of Christ, a time was there when you encouraged us through your ministry, it's now our time also to encourage you. It's amazing that, through your ministry, you helped us out of this very same situation you are in. Personally, I pray for you always. I would have wished to send you this message personally, but this is the only platform I could use.
Melvin Masiga Hello. Did not expect to find a fellow Ugandan in the comments section. Being in a foreign land is no where near easy. Even after years, it’s hard to completely feel at home. I am currently in one myself and we occasionally play our favorite pieces from Hillsong. I actually used to hear a lot of their music growing up and it still has the same effect you are describing. It gives you momentary release from all your distress and afterwards, renewed hope and trust in God. I didn’t know who Marty was or what his problem was so I searched it up. From time to time, I have my own scruples about Christianity, specifically my Catholic faith, however, at the end I somehow come back to God. I join you in hoping that Marty finds his way back too. Cause God really lives and he works miracles. I hope you are much better wherever you are, Melvin, considering the experience you had.

I am a born Christian and I've been bad all my life. I've lived a life of crime... I've hurt so many people for my gains... I've been imprisoned once for a year. I found Jesus time and again in my life.... Every time it breaks me down when I come to think of my life.... I did all those things to survive as I was homeless and abandoned by my family. I seek forgiveness father, I need redemption from my sins....

I'm a sinner and this always reminds me of how little I am when faced with challenges. The best part of it is, I surrender to You and you never failed me.
2024 Lenten season
Marty, my father went with the Lord 3 weeks ago and this song came to my mind. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ until his last breath. There are so many things in this world that we do not understand and have no answers for, but we must keep going and trust Him to see us through.
