Mastery level 17 gives March Size +2, so it's definitely an excellent reinforcement. However, not many Top War tutorials mention Hero Bond Big Shots, which gives March Size +8! Yet another feature to spend some gold shards :) Maybe even better option than saving for a new hero.
Thank you for the strong comment! Yeah that March +8 is awesome for sure. It's a long road to get it! A lot of tutorials blow past Hero Bonds. I'm not sure why? I haven't done one on it because I haven't focused on them.
It take a lot of Mastery paper, plus I will encourage other to level Mastery to level 5, then 10. All 3 types. After that choose your main march and bring it to 15, the rest is what you decide
not worh spending gold shards on bonds, work you way thru using red recruiment every week there is event to spend 50 red recruitment and get shards, after a while you get all heros from recruitment
I would add that there once you reach by your advice a point where you start doing mastery, and for example you are focused on navy always burn first those components that offer x2 then move on to next part and do the same, each level has 3 parts and each part is using diffrent x2 component so it is best to use those x2 only first and then once you burned all of those, then decide which of 3 parts is closest and burn all others on it so you reach one part faster which gives you small bonus
@@1noobnoobextremly long :) i am close to finish second unit type to mastery 15, without putting cash in , it takes ages to get enough mastery plans:)
Thanks, Boss man. You really amazing Top war helper. What you said is 1M times true. Players sacrifice Components just for Mastery and that isn't the right way. What that does, is for spenders they spend more and for low budget players the quit. Patience is the key to success.
Thank you so much! I made the video because I made this mistake early in game. I agree 100% if people know how to play and are patient they can really enjoy this game no matter how much they spend. 😀
Thanks for the comment! What to spend money on I thing varies based on a lot of factors. Not an easy answer. Might make a great video though. I'll add it to my list and try to figure out a solid way to answer for all players regardless of how much they can spend. Thanks for the idea!
LOL I know right? One day, when I have master totally maxed I'll get every component to level 10 I'll be willing to experiment with the others to see if things ever change. But until then this is the way LOL
For the PVE are there any perks to having this set done? For WB the prizes don't seem worth it and I just want to know if there's anything aside from WB where I'd want to use this set because I'm far enough in expidition where I just use my pvp set (is this the wrong strategy?). So ultimately right now, for me, I just think it's more beneficial to have a solid pvp set and then mastery, but I'm afraid I might be missing why a PVE set is so important.
Thanks for the question! The PVE comps do come in handy for events here and there, but really the PVP comps are far more important because they pay off in battle against other players. One example of PVE comps being nice to have is Individual Defense, and the rewards there are reliable and nice.
Don't sacrifice any of the needed PVP ones for your unit types. I would keep at least 1 set of PVE comps for your main unit type. I kept to the strategy in this video and it works for me. It takes a LOT of resources to get mastery up high.
Good question, and it depends really. Overall HRF is critical for almost every type of match up. There are two PVE comps setups I have seen. There's a great graphic on all the use cases on the TW cheatsheet discord that Maymi built. Grab it there and it will give you all the good stuff 😀
I thought this game was hard a lil bit till I got to Mastery Damn! That's a very long long way to go with. The only thing I can't fully understand is that Do we need to at least X2 same components to uograde to next level in mastery or X3 components? My main march is Navy and almost done with equipments Now the next mission is Mastery I think
Thanks for the question, and I'm still going through Mastery as well. It's a long one. I each upgrade level is higher in requirements, and it gets pretty steep. Strap yourself in for a LONG slog LOLOL.
Thank you so much! That's the highest compliment for sure :) Sadly I don't have the attention span for two accounts, and my main account couldn't transfer down very far.
"Once you have one of each of these, it’s time to switch to mastery… Come back to this list, and for any component you need for your maximum set of three that is above a level eight, leave them alone“ I’ve listened to this probably 10 times, and I’m still confused. Probably, because I haven’t started mastery, and don’t know the mechanics, but I want to double check here to make sure I don’t waste months… 1) "Once you have one of each of these, it’s time to switch to mastery“ - you are talking about ONLY the PVP set up correct? Once you have one level 10 of the five components needed for PVP, then you switch to mastery? It’s confusing because those five are shown under “want“, but the “need“ components are never really mentioned, so I’m not 100% sure that “one of each of these“ isn’t also including the other 3 “want" components… 2) "Any component you need for your maximum set of three that is a bubble level eight, leave them alone“ - again, i’m not sure if you’re including the “want“ components here… - I don’t know what “maximum set of three that is above level eight“ even means, probably because I haven’t even seen the mastery screen before. So I don’t really even know what "burn" means yet - if the “want“ components ARE included in the list you’re saying not to burn, that basically means all you can burn is "DEX Buff" and "INV"… If the “want“ components ARE NOT included, that means you are also free to burn the ‘Crit Buff’, ‘Crit DMG’, and ‘HIT LVL’ components, right? - i’m assuming “that is above level eight“ is referring to level eight components, but again, never actually seeing the mastery screen, I don’t know if that is something different inside mastery I know this was an incredibly long post ha ha, but your videos have absolutely helped me, and I really want to make sure I’m understanding what you’re saying here. I’m not a whale, but I am definitely spending money, and I really do not wanna waste months of time to find out I was wrong
LOL no worries on the length here, and thanks for the comment! The needs group you want level 10 components of these for sure. The "wants" ones are stuff that is good to have, but not necessary. It will make a lot of sense once you start doing the Mastery Part, but until then it will sound a little weird. "Burn" means use it to increase your mastery level. You have to spend, or "burn" components in order to increase mastery levels. You'll spend a long time trying to get that first full set of PVP comps. The video is really all about how to move efficiently between building up your component, and leveling up mastery because they are both important. Thanks again, and don't hesitate to reach out here or in our discord, we all really enjoy talking about the game :)

Is HFR essential if building a set against PVE? Perhaps there is a specific PVE set
