Hey man I just wanted to thank you for this video. I’m also struggling with similar things, recently indulged in something that I myself have judged others for. Just wanted to thank you for your honesty in this video. I honestly have no clue why UA-cam recommended me this, personally I think God could’ve showed me this video because of what I’m struggling with. We both have a long way to go brother and I pray both of us get there and break this dumb cycle.
John 6:63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all." John 15:4-5 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."
You're starting to feel the same way that God feels about sin. You're human, so you're going to mess up, but you're disgusted by the idea of you sinning. You're improving man, trust. Prayer is so important I can not stress this enough. Imagine you have a friend, but you only talk to them maybe once a month, and every time you talk to them you're asking a favor. That's what most Christian's relationship with God is like. You can have all the knowledge in the world ABOUT God, but if you don't KNOW him personally there's no point. Remember, God says "Depart from me for I do not know you" not "Depart from me for I do not know about you" Small difference, but vital. As for reading your bible, I would dive in first to the Psalms and proverbs. While you were talking, the passage that came to me was Psalms 51, where David is repenting from his sins. His repetition really hits hard because it's obvious that he feels so bad for his sinning, wanting, not to just be forgiven, but to be made completely new. That passage reminds me of what you're going through. Now as for cursing, I choose not to curse for the exact reason you said you like cursing. When you repeat a word over and over, like the word bowl, it loses its impact. It just starts sounding like noise. That's how I view cursing. It is only impactful when it is used in very select times. Select times not like once a day but much less than that. Paul once cursed. He was writing a letter to a church, telling them what they're doing is horse dung, which had the same impact as the s-word. That is obviously impactful as he never cursed. When he used such strong language to describe what the church was doing, the people of that church were taken aback. Your words are impactful, not just the ones you use, but also the ones you don't use. I'm sorry if this comment comes off wrong, I'm saying all of this out of love. Also sorry for the length of this comment. Keep going strong! God is waiting for you to call him!
One of your videos inspired me to make a video. People do need advice on how to get a wife…. I am praying for you. Don’t give up. Also, try to watch the language brother. We need to be strong and manly, but we also need to have clean speech. May God help us all.
i understand exactly where you come from bro, and its good that you realize and are aware of what you are doing. It all starts with realization and action is the next step afterwards. Learn from your mistakes and you will see yourself growing. Put trust in your God and take everyday step by step.
Bro masturbation is actually good for your health it reduces the possiblilty of prostate cancer. Its natural, you dont need to shame yourself for that. Maybe im wrong but cranking one out is a good thing, might help you clear your mind too hahah Just continue to focus on working on yourself and youll be ok be a good person and help people when you can and God will smile upon you.Have you tried meditation, it might help you figure some things out within yourself.
I relapsed too like the night before he uploaded this. God bless dude we’re in it together
