Ellie looks like she likes riding with in the cab guessing she is not always in the cab cause she may smell a little. So I know you changed out the bucket on the wheel loader just wondering reason why stay safe

I live in Austin Tx & they're calling for 12 to 14 deg temps this wk end..
Last time it got that cold the state electric grid failed & 48 people died...
Mostly elderly .
Some died of CO2 poisoning ...
It baffles me that states like S.D. have those temps on the regular , but you dont hear of people freezing to death in their homes..

Our 2.5 year old Ralph LOVEs watching “Sonne Farms” whenever he is playing with his tractor toys he’s says “like Sonne Farms does” 😂 Thank you for the good clean content! We farm so when he doesn’t get to go with his dad we can still get a taste of the farm from the comfort of home!

Brrrr it looks cold there! This week all we got out of the arctic front was a touch of rain and sleet. Just enough to cause 60+ wrecks in a 4 hour period due to black ice and driving too fast. Texans don’t do well with that kind of weather!😂
So much for fixing that tire! Makes you wonder where the hay they are coming from. Brian looks all fresh and new in his new duds!

It was really interesting.
Always busy time after a winter storm. Seems lot to clean up from the storm. Your feed lots were troublesome for you and your dad. Lots to clean up but yet pretty soft in your lots.
Two flat tires in one day. Oh no. Troublesome getting them off and repaired and put back on. But you got it done. Yeah!!!!
And then the hydraulic hose broke on your dad’s loader tractor. Oh my. Got that fixed in good time and put back on. Good job Cole and Brian. Yeah!!!!
Throwing old clothes in the burn barrel. Used them up. Dad put new ones on to start caving season I believe Brian said. Good going Brian.
Driving home from NW Iowa had to have been some slick roads for you and the wife. Bad weather that way i believe. Glad you are home safe.

Well after this weekend no more mud. Hope all the cattle fair well through this cold spell. Curious to see how that new water tank does in these kind of temps. Stay safe out there.

Your 770 would stay on top. Cole you’re pretty good on that skid steer. Just because the payloader is bigger don’t mean nuttin. Payloader in the construction world is the low man who brings gas

I am retired. I always hated the ice compacted roads! Especially when you meet someone or there is a nut that just has to pass you and cuts in too fast and starts to fishtail and you wonder if he is dumb enough to put his brakes on to stop the fishtailing. You wonder when natural selection will take effect and he doesn’t take anybody with him.
I've been thinking about you guys all week. A man may work from sun to sun, but a farmer works from sun 'til done!

I tried to comment on your last video and lost it somewhere. Was wanting to say I am so proud of your advances in farming and all the new equipment you guys have purchased since Cole graduated. Hey there, with calving season up a good way to save your back while pushing the calves up to the trailer you can build a sort of panel to usher them up without having to bend down. We do it and it works like a charm. Have a good one guys👍

The late snow …. Will this affect your season ? Seen elsewhere that some of the pasture had started to shoot which may make for less grass after the thaw .
We had our driest winter for many years in west Australia, so less feed and long summer expected…. but it’s all swings and round abouts👍😁
Missed you on Monday couldn't find a video. Hopefully has a good holiday season. Tis the calving season coming upon Sonne Farms. Looking forward to more black beauties
