Waited a long time for Elia and Christoph together..... awesome and not disappointed.....
I follow Elia wherever she goes! This is a very cool group of musicians!
Many of the violin parts during the first half of the piece are based directly upon Django's recorded solo from Minor Swing. This piece is well known--guitarists often quote this solo at the start of their improvisation. Using it like this is very nice!
Nice surprise to me as a violinlover and violinmaker! Bravo Elia and Christoph!😊😜
What a great idea! A string quartet with guitar, that plays danceable music -- and sings!
It sounds wonderful.
Very cleaver piece of classical jazz
This sounds really good, especially Marta's walking basslines (which actually sound like a bass, not a cello).
Absolutely amazing and unpredictable! Enjoyed it so much.
Brilliant artists!
Great! Wonderful! Muchas gracias!!!😍😍😍
You guys did a great job with this. I am very, very impressed!!! Wonderful!!!
Jooooo... mit einem Haucherl Alpenfeeling.... great arrangement, Christoph, and as an Austrian I like this little alpine feeling at the end very much.
Kris thank you for explaining the Alpine touch to the ending. I could not figure it out. Almost yodeling-maybe next time.
A great new group made up of distinguished members of other great groups.
Great arrangement. Great playing. Great fun.
Good to see something different - looks like Ms Bastida finds it hard to be limited to a seated position!
This is so incredible, Christoph. It’s just beyond imagination the talent in that room. All we need is for Andrea to walk in - haha. I don’t see anybody reading music for those 5 complex minutes. It’s all just beyond my comprehension. Thanks and best to you and Andrea and your little treasure boy.
CJ: I too was surprised by the lack of music for the group. I think they ran through it a couple of times and Chris said, "Let's go." And it turned out great!! As you pointed out, they are all seasoned pros and clearly enjoy their peers.I hope to see more of these 4 soon.
