UA-cam is pushing the "remix" to get more of the vertical video or shorts viewers and it's confusing some people and other's are being wrongfully demonetized when others steal their content and re-upload it. So many videos with stories about being demonetized because of reuse. Stay positive and keep doing you.

Maybe google's Core Algorithm updates affected you! Also, if you monetized via shorts, and your most trendy videos are shorts, do not expect same turn up when you upload regular videos that are not shorts! I was also affected by google updates (Website)! Sometimes, google limits adsense and all that stuff! So i understand what you are feeling right now! All i can say is this... You can appeal but do not delete any of the content or video before appealing... Make a video showing everything.. But if you want to re apply You have to wait till 90 days And complete the monitization threshold also

Don't blindly copy or learn from channels that has over 10's or 100's of thousands of subscribers, b'cos whatever sh** they put there, they'll get the views. Some even promote their videos with money or through external means. My recommendation; for your thumbnail, use few characters but bolden text with clear image(s) Note: You can do all the tricks yet still it won't work, so be uploading regularly, change your style.go out there, do some one or two interviews on some trending topics or a general question and answers you think it will be interesting to your followers. * i recommend you add subtitles and description in different languages *If you're sharing your channels to your friends, family or a group or if you're using any external means of getting views and subscribers, stop it

And it didn't help me. Here's why: They're good in-terms of contents creation but they will make you feel UA-cam is not worth it. Those days, It affected me unknowingly, I wasn't aggressive or enthusiastic to online money making. They'll make u feel u shdnt even go into it fully. And it's true if you're in US or Europe, b'cos $1000 or 2000 USD a month is not worth it and you can't make a living with it. But in Africa, hey, to wake up to see UA-cam has printed money for you it's a huge blessing.. The lesson; UA-cam can be your side job, but don't approach it with a "side job" mentality. Sometimes it's not about the settings, good thumbnails, bla, bla bla.. but yourself. Lack of enthusiasm to UA-cam can reflect in your videos., thus low quality videos. If you're in Africa, see UA-cam a gold mine. Be aggressive and enthusias to it
Worry not sisters' you'll be back don't be discouraged. It's a phase when you use some else's content at least try to do a voiceover. For fair use, I don't know a lot about UA-cam but my advice would be, try to maybe create an engaging content with some good titles and thumbnails. You are a good talker try different things different hastags#. You've got this surely you'll find what works for you, and use it to your advantage. Don't stress it's part of the journey there are lot of lessons to be learnt. The battle is already won endure

Yes I did reuse other people’s content to boost my page but I deleted them after I got demonetized
